Sasuke stared at me impatiently

"I.."

"Why are you hesitant?"

I quickly shook my head "I don't know.. But. Maru has an older brother and he got pissed at me for 'hurting' his sister even though all I did was grab her since she stepped into the house without permission. Maru probably went ahead and lied to her brother and he came and followed me and-"

"Wait.. What do you mean Maru entered the house without permission? When did this happen?"

I froze "I uh- a few days ago.. I must've forgot to tell you."

Sasuke just grumbled and facepalmed himself
"What's his name?"

"I think it's Harushi."

"You think?"

"It's not my fault I forget some things.."

"Whatever. I'll keep an eye out for him."

I just nodded with a sigh as I sunk lower into the water.

About two days went by and Sasuke was a little hesitant to leave me alone again. So for now he stayed home until he deals with Harushi or something.

Sasuke was reading something while I slept with my head on his lap, snoring softly.

Sasuke was completely unbothered until the doorbell rang.

I just jolted awake as I opened my eyes in confusion. Sasuke stood up from the couch and opened the door just be greeted by Itachi.

"Where were you for the last few months?" Sasuke questioned

"Mmh, busy with my own things. I apologize I couldn't be here during Naruto's pregnancy."

Sasuke just sighed "Yeah well it's a little late now and the baby has already been born a few weeks ago."

"Already? That seemed to go by quickly."

Sasuke just crossed his arms and tched.

"So.. have you finally realized that you do like Naruto?"

"Yeah.. about that. We're officially dating now."

A big smile appeared on Itachi's face "That's wonderful. I have told you multiple times yet you didn't listen." Itachi sighed

"That doesn't matter.. do you want to come in or not."

"Yes yes. Of course."

Sasuke stepped away for Itachi to walk in, closing the door shortly after.

The first thing Itachi glanced at was me while I was still laying on the couch.

"Ah, apologies. Did I wake you up?"

I shook my head as I sat up with a yawn "No. I was about to wake up from my nap anyways."

"You seem more tired then from when I last saw you. Is it because of the baby?"

I rubbed the back of my neck and slowly nodded

Itachi chuckled softly "Babies do give their parents restless nights, don't they. Speaking of babies, where's yours?"

"Hm? Oh he should be sleeping in his crib. I should probably go check on him though." I said before standing up to do just that

As I walked away, Itachi went to sit down and started chatting with Sasuke.

I entered the room just to hear cooing as I walked up to the crib. Menma was awake while he was sucking on his fist

"Hey. How long have you been awake?" I said as I lifted him up

I went back to the living room to find Itachi and Sasuke sitting on the couch in silence

"Apparently he's been awake this whole time."

Itachi looked up with a smile on his face "What's his name?"

"Oh, its Menma." I replied as I sat back down on the couch next to Sasuke

"So, Sasuke told me about what happened with your ex girlfriend and her brother."

I froze before turning to stare at Sasuke who didn't acknowledge me. I just looked back at Itachi

"He.. did?"

Itachi nodded "Wouldn't you press charges for assault?"

"I mean, yeah I could. But.."

"There is no buts about it." Sasuke commented "It's most likely the best thing to do."

"Can you calm down? It's my decision." I scolded

Sasuke rolled his eyes as he crossed his arms

Itachi cleared his throat "So.. either way, I don't think it's the best idea to do nothing about it when you could've been seriously injured."

"Well yeah. I know that."

"It is your decision to make, Naruto." Itachi nodded

I just sighed "I'll figure out what to do. Just not right now."

Itachi stayed for a bit before leaving at around seven pm.

I took Menma a quick bath before wrapping him in a towel and taking him to the bedroom.

Sasuke was sitting on the bed, writing something.

We both were sleeping in the same bed for a few weeks now. My bed to be specific so we could be in the same room as Menma.

I went ahead and changed Menma before placing him in his crib and tucking him in.

I gave him a quick kiss on the forehead before climbing into bed.

Sasuke just looked at me "I still really think you should press charges."

"Can you stop? I know what I need to do."

"Oh really? Then what are you going to do?"

"I'll let you know tomorrow." I muttered as I turned to my side and closed my eyes

Sasuke sighed and went to put his things away before getting back in bed and turning off the light.

It was a moment of silence before I felt Sasuke wrap his arms around my stomach.

My eyes slightly widened as my ears got hot.

I didn't say anything and just closed my eyes even though Sasuke pressed himself close to my back.

He buried his face in my hair while I felt his hand move under my shirt and caress my stomach. Basically he was spooning me.

"Don't make this weird. Just go to sleep." He said

I'm guessing he could tell I was wide awake from the way I was basically frozen.

"Alright.." I muttered before closing my eyes again
