We managed to slip away for a second, quietly closing the door behind us. Gaara's sand slowly trickled out of his gourd, falling in a shallow pool at his feet. I looked up with a sultry expression, meeting his lustful eyes. I was about to take a step forward, but he beat me to it. He quickly stepped closer, and the next second our lips met. In a complicated dance. I was hardly aware of our surroundings, as I was far too entwined in the dance of love. However, I did feel the familiar grainy texture of his sand slowly snaking around us, and pulling us closer together. We stood there, locked in that embrace by the sand, enjoying out heated kiss for a moment, before we broke apart. We stood there and for a split second, everything came together. We were one. Our lives intertwined. After gazing into each others eyes, communicating silent "sweet nothings", we slowly pressed our lips together again. Savoring the flavor, we were in no rush to pick up where we left off. After coming to the unspoken agreement that we both wanted more, we made our way to the bed. Lips and hearts still entwined in the trace of fiery passion. I pushed Gaara down, his sand pulling me down along with him. I landed on him, earning a small chuckle into the kiss, and we resumed. Far more intense this time, for we had a goal in mind. Muffled moans could be heard from outside the room, but we didn't care. We were caught in each others grip, and we each refused to let go. Some time after, we left the room, breathless. Trying to make our way into the bathroom to somewhat tidy ourselves up before we drew any attention. Taking in Gaara's appearance for the first time, I burst into laughter. "What?" He said bashful, trying to suppress laughter himself, "Is it really that bad?" I managed to choke out a "Yes!" Before collecting myself again. Finally looking in the mirror Gaara took in his own appear. His already unruly red hair was messier than ever, and his eyeliner, oh his eyeliner. It was smudged all over. He resembled that of a raccoon. Once the reality of what he looked like settled in, Gaara too burst into laughter, before desperately trying to make himself look decent. After getting his hair to settle down, Gaara whipped off the eyeliner, and to my surprised, he pulled one out of his pocket. "Seriously?" I said skeptically, crossing my arms for effect. "What can I say, it draws attention to my eyes." He said, stifling a chuckle because he didn't want to mess up. I opened my mouth to protest, but settled for a fond smile after realizing that he wasn't wrong. It really did draw attention to those, deep, tranquil, blue-green eyes of his. And before I knew it my hands were leading us into another kiss. And perhaps something more...
