When we finally reach our destination, we walk through crowds of people trying to lay low. The city was nothing like we had ever seen before, nothing like how I had imagined, it was so futuristic and bright.

"This is a long way from the Glade" Newt speaks up,

A voice alerted across the city, we had 15 minutes to find somewhere to hide.

"We better get off the streets, and I know its hard, but just pretend like you've seen it before"

Sirens blared up and down the streets as we made a run for it, following close behind Gally, we just miss a police car as we dash across the road and hide behind a wall,

"They've defiantly upped security, I'm guessing you shanks have something to do with that"

We follow Gally up the side of the wall where we scout out the Wicked Headquarters.

As the boys are talking, I sit off to the side, feeling the cold wind against my face and the sickly feeling like I've been let down for the hundredth time, I never wanted to be here, if I had known back in the Glade what the real world was like I would have stayed there, even without Wicked we could have grown are own food, used what cattle we had to keep us going, we didn't need them then just like we don't need them now.

When we get back down into the city from up on the wall, We have now discovered that our only possible way into that building, our only way to Mihno, was through Teressa. Gally takes us to an abandoned house where we hide out, Jorge and Brenda have been brought into the city where they hide out with us. I sit back from the table where they are all planning, I knew something was up with Newt, and it had nothing to do with the fact we were inside the city, something else, I was thinking he had remembered something just like I had? Or somebody said something to him? Anything was a possibility. It was strange talking about everything that had happened with Gally, I had never really done that before, he seemed so certain that they would have done this trip for me if the roles between me and Minho were reversed, I'm not so sure.

"No, there's got to be another way" Thomas Demand,

"Like what? You've seen the building" Gally sighs, "She is our only way in"

"You really think she's gonna help us?"

"I don't plan on asking for her permission"

"Am I missing something here?" Brenda speaks up, "This is the same girl that betrayed us, correct? Same Dick?"

"I like her"

"Whats going on?" Brenda looks Thomas straight in the eye,

"What, are you afraid your little girlfriend 's gonna get hurt?" Newt spits at Thomas, "Hmm? Because this has obviously never been about rescuing Mihno, Has It?"

"What are you talking about?"

"Teresa, shes the only reason mihno was missing in the first place and now we finally have the oppertunity to get him back and what? You don't wan tto because of her? Because deep down inside you still care about her, don't you? Just admit it"

"Newt I-"

"Don't Lie to Me" He yells and pins Thomas against the wall,

"Oh Yeah, Lets not forget the whole reason we ambushed that train, Newt"

He slowly puts Thomas down, he turns around and apologizes and walks out the door. I look at Thomas looking for some kind of explanation but I am met with a blank face,

"Do you want to deal with that or should I?" He asks me in a caring tone, I know he didn't mean to upset Newt, I don't even know why he was upset, We had gotten this far and I really hoped a little meltdown wouldn't throw our whole operation out the window.

"I've got it" I stand up, "Tommy I really think Teresa is our only way in" I leave and follow Newt out to a concrete overgrown patio. He's sitting on the edge, I slowly approach him, I quietly sit down, Me and Newt could always have a comfortable silence, I feel like we appreciated the world more when it was silent.

"Jesus Newt, if Teresa is still considered Tommys little girlfriend after all this time then what am I to You" We lightly laugh,

"I'm sorry about that, in there" He says, "I have something I need to tell you, but first I have a question"

"Go for it"

"Look, if we make it out of here alive, You are the only person that's made me feel like all of this isn't weird, like at the end of this we get to go and live normal lives, all the sacrifices we have made will be worth it, even our own sacrifices" He puts his hand on my thigh, "Y/n, this may sound a bit stupid but what I am trying to say is I want you to Marry me"

"It didn't sound stupid newt, it was a stupid question though"

"What do you -" I place a gentle kiss on his lips before he could finish,

"Of course I'll marry you" He takes my hand, it felt like everything was falling into place, of course we were young but we have been younger and done much worse then have a Wedding. I felt like the dragging weight of when wicked invaded, when I was thrown on that train was gone.

"Well, I guess I should sort of rephrased that question... If - " He lifts his Sleeve up " - I make it out of here alive"

He had been infected, I take his arm in my hands, it looked like Winston, just not as flesh eating. He wasn't going to die, I wouldn't let that happen,

"Oh Newt, why didn't you tell me sooner" I felt my eyes beginning to swell with tears,

"Does this change your mind"

"God no"

"All I know is Wicked must have put me in that Maze for a reason, Maybe it was just so that they can tell between immunes like you and people like me"

"We are gonna fix this, okay?"

"Don't worry about me, This is about getting Mihno"

"Not for me anymore, I'm gonna find you the cure alright? They don't need me to find him if anything I'm a Liability"

Thomas comes out and see's me in tears hovering above Newts arm,

"Newt" He says,

"I know Tommy, I know"
