Irena and I decided that since our dancing time was cut short we would leave the cafe. So at three in the morning, the both of us went to go get Tequila, Rum, and Vodka from the liquor store. Going to an empty park I drank most of each of them since Irena said she would be driving before letting out our childhood side and played at the park until seven in the morning.
Going back to the mansion after that we had the windows down blasting the playlist we made as kids through the speakers. Singing to every song that played at the top of our lungs. Irena was laughing when I tried to rap Eminem while drunk. Pulling up she turned down the music that we were still singing.
Standing out on the front porch were two very pissed-off men, Carlos and Marcus. They were glaring at us with their arms crossed over their chests. Carlos shook his head while Marcus didn't budge. Getting out of the car Irena was laughing so hard I thought she would piss herself if she couldn't stop soon.
"Where did you two go all night long?" Carlos' voice was stern yet sounded exhausted.
Taking my heels off I let them drop to the ground next to my feet. Turning to face Irena I smirked, "Run." We both took off running in opposite directions. She went towards the garden while I took the route to the pool area.
I heard Marcus chasing after me as I jumped and climbed over the metal fence before running again. As I turned the corner by the pool Marcus had landed from the jump. Covering my mouth I hid behind the big box of ice in between the pool and barbeque area. His steps slowed to a halt before they slowly made their way around.
As his steps grew closer they stopped. "Where the fuck did she go?"
Taking a moment to keep myself from laughing I stood up and silently crept up behind him before shoving him into the cold water. Now laughing as he resurfaced looking at me in surprise. "You should see your face!" My words slurred together as I continued laughing.
"Isa help me!" Irena came sprinting my way before she hid behind me. Carlos was not far behind her before he stopped and looked confused.
"Where's Marcus?"
"Right there." I pointed to the now empty pool. "Huh? Where'd he go?" I stepped closer to the edge looking into the water. Marcus came up from under the water grabbing my ankles to pull me into the water with him. Yelping I went under the water before coming back up. "What the fuck?" I glared at Marcus.
He chuckled before he shrugged. "Karma's a bitch."
Splashing water toward him I went to climb out when he pulled me back by my waist. His arms wrapped around them as we stayed in the water. "Now answer our question, where did you guys go?"
Irena and Carlos silently watched me struggle to break free of his hold on me. "I ain't telling you shit, you Jerk."
"Why not?"
Pausing for a moment I turned the best I could to face him. My words still slurring, "You can't even tell me shit. You got your damn secrets I got mine. Let me go now."
His arms squeezed tighter around me making me squeal softly. "Tell me, Princess."
"Over my dead body." Peeling his arms off me I dived into the water and put space between us before I came back up for air. He was now glaring at me again. "You did it to yourself, Dummy." Climbing out I looked at Irena and Carlos who were still watching. "I'm taking a hot shower. I'll eat later."
Irena ran over and grabbed my hand. "We should at least tell Carlos."
"You can if you want." I gently pulled my hand back before entering the mansion dripping wet as I went to my room. Struggling to peel off the dress I felt myself growing tired. Reminding myself I needed to shower before I could go to sleep was harder than I had thought. After getting all the clothing off I decided a shower sounded like too much work so I went to fill the tub.
