Chapter 1. The Suprising Letter

Chavez sighed softly as he sat at the table at Jane GreatHouse's place in White Oaks Chavez and the rest of the gang had stopped to visit Jane as well as avoid the law because they were still wanted men so they decided to hide out at Jane's place Chavez was sharping a couple of his knives while sitting at the table his best friend Josiah Gordon Scurlock who had the nickname Doc because he had once studied medicine in New Orleans was sitting across from him writing in a journal while his wife Yen Sun was knitting something it looked like she was knitting a a little blanket Doc was a simple man with short blonde hair and hazel eyes he was poet and loved to write anything that came to him his wife Yen a Chinese woman who Doc had met at a New Year's Eve party was pregnant and was due to give birth to the baby any day Billy and Tom O'Folliard were playing a card game with Hendry William French and Arkansas Dave Roudabaugh Tom was a young kid of 14 in a half years old and had admired Billy and wanted to join the gang at first Billy wouldn't let him because of how young he was but then realized that if he didn't let Tom join them then Beaver Smith would most likely kill him so Billy reluctantly agreed to let Tom join Hendry William French was a good man quiet and maybe a little shy the man had been through a lot he had lost his wife to small pox and lost his land to the money men so he basically had nothing else to do and decided to join the gang as for Arkansas Dave well Chavez didn't know what to make of him and also couldn't stand the guy but he never really showed it as for Billy or chivato as Chavez had nicknamed him was having great time Chavez shook his head and went back to shaping his knives as he was doing so his dog Laisha a Siberian husky he had found awhile back was walking up to him with something in her mouth Chavez looked at Laisha baffled

What do you have there Laisha? Chavez asked

Laisha set the thing down on Chavez's lap it looked like an envelope Chavez was baffled by this he picked it up and looked to the front of it when he did he was shocked he knew who had sent this envelope he carefully opened the envelope his hands were shaking as he opened it inside the envelope was a letter a letter from none other than Petunia nee'Evens Dursley the sister of his ex girlfriend he couldn't understand why she would be writing to him of all people he met Petunia Dursley once and he hated her mainly because she hated her sister Lilly Chavez remembered Lilly she was a little younger than him with red hair and emerald green eyes she and Chavez had once dated she had told him that she was a witch and could do magic and had once attended Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry she told him everything about Hogwarts and everything Chavez also remembered how they went all the way afterwards she told him that she was engaged and that she couldn't see him anymore Chavez was heartbroken but understood Lilly was engaged to a man by the name of James Potter who was a wizard and had attended Hogwarts as well Chavez looked down at the letter

The letter read:

Dear Jose:
This is your issue not mine. It's not my fault my good for nothing sister and her no good husband got themselves killed by that psycho Voldemort. I don't need to put my family in danger just because they are dead. That stupid old man didn't leave me any choice expecting me to take the little brat in and raise him as my own well forget it. I have spent the last year trying to raise that ungrateful freak of a child and I won't do it anymore. I know you dated my sister and had gotten her pregnant. I'm going to cut straight to the point Jose I think Lilly's child is yours and I'm signing custody over to you. I refuse to keep a dirty freak in my house. I won't let him anywhere near my precious little Dudley and fill him with that freakishness. I'll be arriving in American on June 1st that'll give you enough time to prepare for the freak. I have no doubt he's yours he looks a tad bit like you at least he looks like you did in that picture of you that Lilly had. Here's to you not getting blown up like my idiot sister or getting captured by the law.

Chavez sat back in his chair by then everyone had looked at him he couldn't believe what he just read Lilly was dead and Petunia calling Lilly's son a freak he was shocked Chavez looked down at the letter again playing what he had just read over in his mind "could be possible? "Could he really be the boy's father? He had so many questions running through his mind
