Chapter 2. Meeting The Boy Who Lived

It had been a couple of months since Petunia's letter Chavez had asked Doc and Yen that if anything were to happen to him that they would raise Harry and they agreed Chavez had asked Pat Garrett to come and talk to him and he did Chavez had told him about Lilly and about Harry and Pat decided not to chase them anymore because of Harry being involved in Chavez's life even though they're all still outlaws and everything else Chavez had gotten Petunia's letter in April so it was now the middle of May almost June and almost the start of summer vacation Jane and Billy went and bought a house for Chavez and Harry Chavez was grateful for that the house was a little ways down the street from Jane's place so if Chavez needed help with babysitting she would be there to help Chavez was putting the finishing touches to the new house Doc and Billy were to helping as well everything seemed going to according to plan until they heard something it sounded like a scream Doc and Billy went to check out where the noise came from and they were shocked when they discovered where the noise came from

CHAVEZ! Both men yelled in shock and worry

Chavez stopped at what he was doing and ran outside and there he was his son had arrived a little too early Harry was holding onto the railing and wasn't looking too good he was covered in blood and bruises Harry looked up at Chavez with fear in the little guy's eyes Chavez sighed softly and gently walked over towards the toddler who was now his son and knelt down Chavez noticed that Harry's left leg and right arm were in a weird angle which caused Chavez to be concerned

Hey Harry "how you feeling? Chavez asked gently careful not to frighten him

Hurting Harry replied feeling scared

Yeah I see that bud "do you know who I'am? Chavez asked

Harry looked at Chavez for a moment he was the spitting image of his mother with a little bit of Chavez's facial features Harry's eyes were a mixture of his hazel eyes and Lilly's emerald green eyes he also had Chavez's jet black hair color Harry looked up at Chavez and smiled softly

Are you my dada? Harry asked

Yes I'm your dad Harry Chavez replied chuckling

Harry smiled happily and wrapped his arms around Chavez's neck and Chavez gently picked him as he did Harry whimpered Chavez had asked Harry if he was alright and Harry said he wasn't Chavez set Harry down and asked him what was wrong and Harry hesitantly lifted up his shirt revealing dozens of cuts and bruises Chavez gasped in shock he gently picked Harry up and brought him into the house Chavez sat down on a couch setting little Harry down on his lap

Hey Doc could you come in here for a minute please? Chavez asked

Everything alright Chavez? Doc asked

Harry whimpered and buried his face in Chavez's chest shaking violently Chavez gently rubbed his back trying to calm him he looked at Doc for a minute then turned his attention to Harry

Harry can you show your uncle Doc what you showed me please? Chavez asked gently

Harry looked at Chavez his lip was quivering as if he was going to cry Chavez's heart ached he hated seeing his newly found son hurting he'd wish he could find the Dursleys and make them pay for what they did to Harry Chavez gently kissed the top of Harry's head reassure him that he was alright and everything Harry shakily lifted up his shirt and Doc gasped in shock and then glared causing Harry cry out

PLEASE DON'T HURT ME AND I'M A FREAK! Harry screamed causing Chavez and Doc to look at each other shocked

Harry it's alright bud nobody's going to hurt you and you're not a freak please don't say that again Chavez replied trying to calm him down
