Nora:
It has been two days since Draco and I had our long talk during dinner. I see him at every meal and in most classes, but we have not spoken to one another. I weirdly have been... unsettled by that fact. I hate to admit it, but I think that I may be missing him.
However, I have decided I am going to focus on school from now on. I always tried, and put in effort. Now though, I am determined to absolutely excel. The reason for this? I have so much on her mind with Draco, The Order, Dumbledore's Army, her friends, and Voldemort. So, instead of always thinking about those things, I now am just going to do school. All the time.
It wasn't the worst idea anyway. The OWLS are in less than four months, so I did need to start preparing. As well as Umbridge has been stressing the importance of excelling in the OWLS so much that it is genuinely starting to worry me.When I was sitting at the Gryffindor table and reading the paper at breakfast, the front cover said that there was a mass breakout from Azkaban. They are blaming Sirius.
"Harry, can you believe this bullshit?" I exclaimed. The entire table turned their heads to face me. It wasn't often that I swore anymore.
"I know. It's outrageous. Blaming Sirius for this? They know it's not true as well. That may be the most frustrating part! They're in denial!"
"We need to have more lessons with everyone."
"You're right, things are getting more serious."
"I'll let everyone know. Are we good to have one tonight? Some people may take comfort in you speaking on this, you know."
"Ok. Yep tonight is good."
Throughout all of my classes, I was letting people know about the meeting that was happening tonight. I'm both excited and nervous. This was the first meeting that they were going to have since before the holidays.
Once everyone who said they could make it was there, Harry began his talk.
"Thank you all for coming on such short notice. I'm sure you all know by now that there was a mass breakout of Death Eaters from Azkaban. Now, rest assured, we are safe. I want you all to know that. However. As a precaution, I have decided to offer two lessons a week, as opposed to just one. It's not at all mandatory to attend both, but I believe it will benefit all of us to get some extra practice in. Especially right now."
I continued, "I also want to let everyone know something. Professor Umbridge has been taking students to her office to interrogate them. Fortunately, none of us have been brought in yet. However, if you are, I would like to remind everyone of what to say. If you are brought in, stick to this simple script. Try not to veer off course. Simply state: I have not heard of any illegal group. If I do, I will let you know professor. I promise. I am just as worried about this as you are." I then looked into the crowd and continued, "She will be satisfied with this. If she presses you more, just remember to include things about how you respect what she and the ministry are doing for Hogwarts. That will help."
Hermione nodded, "With that, I think we can get on to today's lesson. Harry, you can take it from here."
Near the end of their time together in the Room of Requirement, I noticed Neville looking awfully glum in the corner.
"Are you ok Neville?"
"Bellatrix Lestrange."
"Yeah?"
"She killed my parents. She used the Cruciatus Curse on them."
"Oh my- Neville. I'm so sorry."
I hugged Neville so tight, he needed it. We embraced each other for almost thirty seconds before I began to talk again,
