The decorations, the lights, the food, outfits. Everything was so beautiful and cool looking, there were so many people already, it felt like I was in a club and I liked it.

I scanned the room looking for Tina and I saw her talking with a few people.

I decided to walk up to them hoping I would meet some new fun people to hang out with.

"Hey Ti!" I said making her turn around.

"Hii, everyone this is Abigail and she's my new friend!" She cheered putting a hand around my shoulders.

We chatted for a little bit, but I wanted something to drink so I excused myself to the food and drink table. I poured something in the cup and sneaked off to a corner, I took out my flask with vodka from my hand bag and poured that in too.

Once I turned around I saw Miss Jones looking at me from across the room, she wore a silver, sparkle, long sleeve crop top, white high waisted pants and silver high heels. Her hair fell down her shoulders and she had dark red lipstick on.

*Oh my.*

After I realized I had been starting and literally checked her out in front of her, I quickly turned my head and suddenly the wall was really interesting for me. I remember I had a drink in my had so I took a sip of that.

*I'm truly thankful for the alcohol in this..*

I turned back to look at her and she was already walking towards me. My eyes were fixated on her, watching her every movement.

"Heyy." She said in a low tone.

"Hi." I answer quietly looking anywhere but her.

"You look really h-, good!"

I turned to finally look in her eyes.

*Was she about to say something else?*

"Thank you, you look really hgood too!" I chuckled.

"Thanks." She laughed nervously and averted her gaze somewhere else.

A little awkwardness filled the air so I took a sip again hoping it would soon hit me.

"So how are you enjoying the party?" She finally spoke.

"Its pretty good, although I would prefer if it wasn't on a school night." I smiled.

"Yea, i don't know why they decided on a school night. It's a little weird." She smiled back.

Then suddenly out of nowhere the principal appeared. "Hello, Eleanor. Could I please get a word." She asked but in a demanding tone.

"I'm sorr-" Miss Jones started to answer her but I quickly interrupted. "All good I'm already going!" I shot a quick smile at Miss Jones and walked back to the group.

After some time of chatting and dancing with them I felt a sudden need for fresh air so I excused myself again and walked away.

Once I walked out the big front door the night soft wind hit my face. It was so peaceful and calm out here. Everyone else was inside partying witch meant I was the only one here.

I sat down on the stairs and looked around just to make sure I really was alone. Once I approved everything was clear I took out a cigarette and light it.

When the smoke hit my lungs I fully relaxed, and the alcohol in my system helped too. The sky was clear, beautiful and full of stars.

*I could get used to this.*

After a little while the cigarette was gone and I was now fully focused on the sky.

"So you like your alone time."

*From where does she always show up?*

"What?" I turned my head around just to see her leanings on the side of the door with her hands crossed and a smirk on her face.

*Gulp

"I mean," She started coming down the stairs to sit next to me. "you always try and sneak away from the people, somewhere more quiet."

"Am I right?" She gave me a look that sent me shivers down my back.

I couldn't control my eyes and looked at her lips, but when I looked back at her eyes she was still strongly holding her eye contact. Which only meant she saw that.

I turned my head to the other side out of embarrassment.

"You are right, yes." I finally spoke and looked back at her.

"I like to be alone, somewhere more quiet away from people." I turned to the sky.

"Then should I go?"

"No." I smiled at myself. "You don't require a lot of energy from me."

"I'm gonna say thank you.... because I think that's a compliment?"

"It is." I simply said.

Out of a corner of my eye I saw her looking at me with a smile and then turning to the stars too.

After some time of comfortable silence I felt my eyes starting to feel heavy, I looked a the time and it was already midnight.

"I should go, so I don't feel like a corpse tomorrow at my lessons." I said standing up, but once I took the first step I lost my balance and started to fall, but Miss Jones catched me.

"Whoa, what's wrong?" She said wide eyed looking down at me.

*Fucking alcohol!*

"Nothing, nothing, just lost balance for a moment that's all." I said with a smile, finally getting out of her grip.

"Well I'm going to accompany you to your room, just to make sure you are okay and that doesn't happen again."

We started to walk again but this time I was smarter and gripped the railing.

All the way to my room I made sure I was always holding on to something to steady my balance.

Luckily I didn't fall again but I for sure wobbled in some moments which made Miss Jones a little sceptical, but she never said anything.

"Here we are." Miss Jones said standing in front of my door.

"Yes." Is said back looking at her.

"Thank you for keeping me company, and making sure I'm okay." I smiled.

She smiled back "Of course, goodnight Abigail."

"Goodnight."

She walked away.

I watched her all the way till she reached her door. She stopped in front of it and we locked eyes one last time tonight.
