NOT LIKE THE REST PT.2 x TOM KAULITZ & y/n

Pt 20

Okay okay SO once this story is over I'm going to make a Bill and a Tom one because I want everyone to be happy and still read what I make LOL

   I gave the operator our address and told them our house had been broken into. They told us police were on the way and asked if I needed to stay in the line with them because I started to panic a bit. I said no and hung up the phone. It felt like it was taking forever for the police to come. Tom came over next to me and gave me a big hug and didn't let go. I just wanted to catch a break. All I wanted was to be able to come home and feel safe but now I don't even feel safe in our home. My whole life I never felt a sense of comfort at home with my parents. I always felt like I was walking on egg shells around my entire family for my whole life. When I finally met Tom I felt like I had someone who actually cared about me and wanted to make me feel safe. When I moved in with him everything felt so perfect. When we went to Germany I was so excited but everything changed so quickly. I still feel safe with Tom and I still love him more than anything but we just haven't been able to let things truly go back to normal.
   We heard the police sirens as they drove up the hill. It sounded like there were a lot of them. Tom  pulled away but grabbed my hand and we walked out closer to the street. Bill stood next to us as we waited. Finally we saw the police down the street as they pulled up in front of us. Tom started walking towards them so I followed along since our hands were locked together. One of the police officers got out of the car and walked over to Tom and I. Tom started telling him what happened as the police officer was writing it all down. Other police officers showed up and listened to Tom as he talked. Once Tom told them everything we knew some of the police officers went inside the house. They said we could follow behind but we shouldn't touch anything. Bill followed us and gasped when he walked in because he hadn't seen inside yet. We walked into the living room and they were taking pictures of everything. We walked up the stairs with one of the officers while the others stayed downstairs. The officer opened our bedroom door and my eyes started to water at how it looked. He opened our closet door and my things were all over the floor. I wasn't really upset that my things were taken or ruined I was just upset that someone could do this. I couldn't look at it anymore so I squeezed Toms hand and then walked out the door. I just went outside because I didn't want to be in the house anymore. I was so tired and just drained. I sat down on the brick driveway leaned up against the gate. A few minutes later Bill came out. He sat down next to me.
"Where is Tom?" I asked
"He is still inside showing them what's missing." Bill said
I nodded my head and then put my hands over my face. We just sat there quietly watching people move in and out of the house. Bill pulled out a pack of cigarettes and handed one to me. I didn't even say I didn't want it because honestly I was so stressed that I just took it. I placed it between my lips and bill lit it. I thanked him and then inhaled. I couldn't help but cough and that made Bill laugh which made me laugh a little. We went back to being silent for a few more seconds before I spoke up.
"What are we going to do?" I asked
"I don't know y/n but you guys can stay with me as long as you need to." Bill said
After he said that I saw Tom walk out of the door towards us. I stood up when he got close and I handed him my cigarette because I didn't want it anymore but I knew he would want it. I gave him a big hug and a kiss and then I pulled away to look at him. He just looked sad. He walked out into the street and I watched him. He stood alone for awhile. I couldn't really see his face but I saw the shadow of it lit up by the red and blue lights coming from the police cars. Bill and I just let him stand there alone because if he wanted us there he would ask.
   "Excuse me miss this is your home correct?" A police officer asked which made me turn towards him
"Yes this is." I said to him quickly to hear what he had to say next
   "So this is what is going to happen tonight. We are going to keep investigating and we are going to have some more people come in to try and get fingerprints and dna samples so we can find who did this. For now we can't get anyone out here but we are going to tape off the house and keep some officers here until they can come. Do you have somewhere you can stay for the night?" He asked
"Yeah Toms brother lives across the street so we are going to stay there." I said
   "Okay perfect. Well I'm going to recommend that you guys head over there now because unfortunately it's just a waiting game and there is not much else you can do right now. If you need anything let us know because we will be here." He said trying to give me a reassuring smile
"Okay thank you." I said
   I walked over to Tom and told him everything the officer just told me. Tom sighed deeply and then grabbed onto my hand again and Bill walked over and asked if we were ready to go inside. We shook our heads yes and all started to walk over. Bill opened his door and we walked in. Bill walked us up into the guest bedroom and we went in. I was so tired I just wanted to go to bed.
"Do you have anything I can borrow to go to sleep in?" I asked bill
   "Sure y/n one second." Bill said leaving the room for a moment
   I watched as Tom walked over to the window and looked outside to our house. I slowly walked up behind him and placed my head on his upper arm because he's too tall to put it on his shoulder. He turned his head towards me as I looked up at him. He turned his body towards me and he placed his hand on my cheek. We didn't say anything but we didn't need to.
   "Okay I have a shirt and some shorts for you y/n." Bill said
"Thank you!" I said sighing of relief
   I took the clothes and headed into the guest bathroom. I stood in the bathroom for a moment and then started changing. I heard Bill and Tom start talking but they were whispering. This made me stop changing for a moment and get closer to the wall so I could listen in on what they were saying. I shouldn't snoop on their conversation but I couldn't help myself.
   "Everything is going to be okay Tom." Bill said
    "What if it's not though? They took so much stuff." Tom said
   "Well most of those things can be replaced but as long as you two are okay than the material stuff doesn't matter." Bill said
    "But they took the ring." Tom said
   "I thought you put it in the safe?" Bill said
    "I did but I didn't want y/n to go in there and find it so I hid it somewhere else but now it's gone." Tom said
   My eyes got super wide and I put my hand over my mouth. I pulled away from the wall to stop listening in because I feel like I've heard too much. I can't believe Tom got me a ring even if it's gone now. I couldn't help but smile but I knew I had to get it together and stop because they didn't know I was listening in. I got dressed really quickly because I had been in there for too long and I opened the door and walked back out to them.
