When Rei wakes up, it's not to the ceiling of her bedroom, but instead to a blank, grey wall, her limbs tied to a chair, and two bald men wearing sunglasses. Which, terrible facewear to have on in such a dark room - can they even see anything?

Her attention is quickly drawn off of the two when a door bangs open from somewhere behind them, followed by the sound of rapid clicking and tapping - likely footsteps. Soon enough, the owners of said footsteps step into the light that she's been placed under, and she stares at the two incredulously. Some blonde and a teenager who looks like he's trying his best to be 'edgy'. The sight could almost make her laugh, if it weren't for the fact that she's certain that no one here would appreciate her doing so - a pity, really. She's been told that her laughter is a rare sound, after all.

Instead, she listens as the blond woman goes on a little spiel about how Rei's 'group' had been uncooperative, and how they're only going to let her go if she pays them the debt that she and her group apparently own. When the woman's done - and Rei gives her a bit of a gap, just to make sure that she's truly done - and the two are staring down at her expectantly, she gives a little confused grin and asks, "Sorry, but who are you?"

Blondie - as Rei has started calling her in her head - stares at her incredulously, while the teenager somehow manages to make himself look even more brooding.

"You- We're part of the Port Mafia," Blondie informs her, and Rei's face changes to one of understanding.

"Oh, you guys." Distantly, she wonders if their boss finally figured out her identity of being the one who keeps directly lettering him about compensation for property damage - that he, for some reason, keeps paying for - before discarding the idea; Blondie had mentioned a group of some sort, and she's not in any sort of group - certainly not one that owes the Port Mafia some sort of debt.

Blondie's disbelieving stare only becomes more intense, while Rei can also feel the teenager getting progressively more emo from where he stands, a distance away. It's a bit funny, how three simple words could incite this sort of reaction - it almost makes her want to stick around and keep goading them on. Unfortunately, though, she'd rather not leave her store for long, since there will no doubt be petty idiots who try to rob her; she doesn't take kindly to a destroyed store either.

"Sorry to tell you, but you've got the wrong person. Now, if you'll excuse me-" she chuckles lightly at Blondie's gobsmacked expression when she stands up from the chair - really, with no one watching her from behind, it was easy enough to transport the bindings away. "-I'm going to go home. Next time I'm apparently involved in some group, maybe fact-check first."

Rei waves as she turns, just narrowly avoiding getting stabbed by a glowing red appendage with that motion. Glancing back to clarify who it belongs to - the emo teenager, of course - she chuckles again as she rounds a corner into the shadows and transports herself instantly back near her home.

Maybe she could move locations, if the Port Mafia knows where she lives; but again, she has no major, life-threatening business with them, so what value would there be to her moving beyond losing some money? Besides, they probably know where she works as well, and there's no way she's giving up her little store.

Speaking of her store, though, maybe now would be a good time to pop in and check on her new employee.
