Once me and maya finished our coffees and I finished my muffin, I left a tip on the table as we left.

I look back over to where zade was sat, realising that he had already gone I grabbed my things and left the café. Maya gasped turning to me

"Shoot! I completely forgot my mom was meant to be coming over tonight" she looks at me wide eyed.

I smile at her "of course you did, but you can go I can call zade or just walk home" I stand opening my arms and hug maya, she hugs back

"Are you sure you're gonna be okay?"

I nod and we both wave goodbye, I stand outside a building whilst I reach for my phone. A unfamiliar voice starts speaking

They whistle "fuck me, I'd definitely tap that" I grimace and look back down at my phone, trying to message zade bur they snatch my phone out of my hand.

"Hey! Give that back you creep" I storm over to the creep and jump as I try to reach for my phone, he chuckles as he backs me up into a small corner

"how about you let me use you then you can get your precious phone back, hm?" He leans closer and I could smell the alcohol. Men are disgusting.

I turn my head the other way and close my eyes as his face inches closer to mine as his hand travels down my stomach but seconds later I hear a groan as hes being pulled back. I take a deep breath of relief.

"Get your hands off my girl." Zade growls as he holds the guy by his collar.

The guy smirks "that's your girl? You've got one of a kind. Mind sharing?"

Zades jaw clenches as he let's go of the guy and punches him straight in the jaw, my eyes widen and I take a step forward observing the situation.

"Don't you understand? She's mine. Not yours." He glares angrily waiting for the guy to give in.

He starts trembling as his eyes grow wider

"I-Im sorry!! I just thought you'd share y'know? Guys do it all the time" He starts stuttering.

Zade looks at him disgusted and grabs him by the collar again "if you fuck with my girl or any other girl, I'm going to torture you and cut you apart, limb by limb. Mark. My. Words." He roared as he shoved the guy away and quickly ran over to me putting his hands on my face, inspecting it

"Fuck, are you okay? Please tell me you're okay" He looks around and kisses my forehead and pulls me into a hug, his hands snaking around my waist tightly.

"I'm okay," I whisper as I close my eyes before opening them again as I pull away from the hug. He hands me my phone and I thank him
"Can we go home?" I look up at him with pleading eyes. I can't stay here any longer.

He nods and puts his hand out waiting for me to take it. We hold hands as we make our way to zades car, as per usual he helps me get inside and does my seatbelt for me before shutting my car door and heading over to the drivers seat.

I look out my window as tears start to flood my eyes whilst zade starts driving.
He notices and puts his hand on my thigh
"You okay baby?" He mumbles whilst focusing on the road

I turn to him, my lip quivering
"was it my fault?" I whisper

His eyebrows furrow "what do you mean?"

"just now.. was it my fault?" I look at him frowning

His eyes widen and he turns into a parking lot, stopping the car. His hand grips my chin, making me looks at him

"Adeline, none of that was your fault trust me" I blink and a tear slowly travels down my cheek and zade wipes it with his thumb and he kisses my nose

"it wasn't your fault baby, it's just men don't know how to control themselves." He kisses my nose again
"Never blame yourself" and I slowly nod wiping any other tears away

He grins and changes the subject "how about we go home and you show me what you bought, hm?"

blush starts slowly creeping up on my cheeks and I look at him biting my lip

A low groan erupts from him throat
"fuck, don't do that" He breathes and turns away from me, my blush growing redder.

Zade starts the car and starts driving back to my house I turn my head back to the window and watch the trees and buildings zooming past as I slowly start feeling drowsy. I close my eyes and soon fall into a deep sleep.
