#3 - Meeting the God of Mischief

"What do you mean he is already here!?", asked Tony, now pretty furiously.

"He killed, he tried to enslave the Earth, he tried to kill me AND he brought an entire army of aliens to Earth, which DESTROYED HALF THE CITY!" he was now counting the mistakes Loki did.

And to be honest, he was right. He did do all those things. But that doesn't mean he can't change. People constantly change. And plenty of them feel remorse for the actions they did. Besides, he was misunderstood. Hell, you would probably do the same if your father would tell you that you were just a pawn in his plan to rule everything without a second thought.

But you couldn't say that. And you certainly couldn't say or show any of those emotions to Loki. Besides, it's not like you're in love with him or something. Yes, you love his character and know pretty much everything there is about the actor. Plus the posters on the wall and all those unslept nights reading fanfiction... Ok, you may have a little crush on the guy. But hey, people have crushes on Loki in your world all the time. Hell, he has a whole army of fangirls, and you are one of them.

Your thoughts were interrupted by Tony, "He is not staying here Thor.", he crossed his arms, "He would be a danger to us all."

"He is already here Tony. We can't throw him out cause he would cause a havoc.", that voice of partial reason was Steve. Who somehow has decided to let Loki stay. Much to Tony's disappointment.

"Fine! We throw his ass in a cell. Beats me."

"You are not imprisoning my brother again! He is here to repent."

This all started to sound like the beginning of a very long and tedious argument to you.

"You should let him stay." 

All heads turn to you yet again. Even you were surprised by this. Why would you just say that as if you are part of the team? I guess you secretly wished to be and for Loki to stay. But still, now everyone is looking at you.

"Sanderson, you don't even know him! He's a criminal for god's sake!"

"I do know him. I know all of you. I told you before. But even so, everyone deserves a second chance."

Thor looked at you with a grateful look.

"Yes normal people deserve a second chance, but-"

"No buts, anyone is capable of redemption. And who are we to decide if he is worthy of having a second chance or not?" You were now dead set on them letting him stay. You believed he deserved a second chance.

"The kids right." agreed Steve, "We have plenty of rooms and I'm sure you can come up with some sort of technology to restrict his powers."

Tony looked defeated. He knew he couldn't win this argument. 

"Alright, alright! But he puts one foot out of line and he's back in the cell. And where is he anyways?", he turned to Thor now, "You said he was already here."

"He's in the elevator. Stuck.", you tried not to laugh. It was hard.

"The door closed before he got out and they couldn't open."

Now, Tony wasn't trying to contain his laugh, oh no. He bent over laughing.

"Ah, that must've been Jarvis' safety protocol. Nice one Jarvis!"

"Thank you, sir"

"Alright come on Thor. Let's get your murderous brother unstuck."
