A/N : Hi! Little Rain x Ghoul reader because I felt like it. Kinda 🖤angst🖤 bc I feel like shit rn. So basically, you hurt a lot for no reason, they don't believe you, etc. Hope you like it ^^

【You're visiting a city
while on tour】

"Oh come on y/n, smile more, Sodo said, we're kinda on holiday and we can visit the city!

- Yeah, it looks like you don't care" Swiss added.

You kept on walking behind them, focused on your path. You were in pain, a lot of pain. The heat was making it worse, and your legs felt like both jello and concrete at the same time.

You quickly arrived to the restaurant you were eating at, and they waited at the front for someone to walk them to your table. You sat on the bench nearby, looking off into the void, overwhelmed by the pain.

"Hello? Can't you pay attention to us?" Sodo asked, snapping his finger in front of your face.

Your eyes focused again, and you turned to look at him.

"The waitress' here. Why did you even sit?

- I'm in pain, you started, swallowed your tears. I'm in pain, and I've been telling you I'm in pain, but you never listened. All y'all ever did was telling me to "walk the pain away" or force on my body."

They looked at you shocked. The waitress took a few steps back, and Sodo spoke again.

"You can't be in this much pain, and if you exercised it'd be more bearable.

- Here. You're doing it again. Acting like you know everything that I go through. I'm so sick of you." You snapped as you got up and left, slightly limping from the pain.

"Wait! Y/n!" Rain exclaimed as he followed you.

"Leave me the fuck alone" You snapped as you pushed him away and kept walking.

As soon as you had walked the corner of the street you started crying, out of pain, of exhaustion, of emotion, of regret for pushing him away, of feeling like they don't care about you. It was all foggy and messy for you, you didn't know what you felt.

You sat down and took a few deep breaths, staring at the sea. The view was beautiful, poetic. The city, standing strong in the ocean. The waves crashing at the bottom of the rocks. How could the ocean be so strong and powerful, yet seem so calm and peaceful, almost weak?

You got lost in your thoughts, watching as some boats were floating, some people swimming.

Your thoughts headed back to Rain, and you started crying again. You wiped you tears as you got up and left.

You headed back to the appartement you were renting for the week, and, locking back the door after you, laid down on top of your bed. You took some painkillers and started drifting off to sleep.

As you were closing your eyes, you heard someone's keys being slid into the lock. You sighted, and stared at the ceiling, zoned out.

"Oh there he is, doing nothing as usual." Sodo spoke, looking at you.

"When you'll be feeling as much pain as me you'll open your mouth." You replied, annoyed at him.

"And I bet you didn't even eat, because you can't cook."

You threw the empty painkiller bottle at him.

"It's already empty? It was brand new!" He exclaimed as he caught it.

"No shit Sherlock. I'm in pain, obviously the painkillers bottle would end up empty."

"If you took painkillers, that means you can come help us." He said as he gestured towards Mountain who was holding bags.

"The painkillers aren't strong enough. Why do you think I've overdosed on painkillers SEVEN TIMES? Because it hurts. Because it fucking hurts like hell."

You started crying again, and Rain rushed to you, hugging you. You let your head drop in his neck, crying on his shoulders. He started rubbing your back.

By the time you were calmed, Sodo had went back with Swiss to start unpacking stuff.

"Hey, it's gonna be alright, Rain started, I may not understand what you're going through but I'm here for you, and I'll do my best to help you any way I can.

- You're so nice. I really don't deserve you-

- You deserve so much more, he cut you off, you deserve the whole world.

- You're too nice. Why do you even love me? I'm in pain all the time, you can't go out, can't do anything with me.

- You're you. That's all that matters. And also, I've got an idea."

You looked at him, curious. He grabbed your hand to help you get up, and helped you walk to the living room, sitting you in the sofa. He left, and came back a few seconds later with Swiss, Mountain, Sodo and Phantom. He made them sit next to you, and stood in front of y'all.

"I've got an idea. You know, there's this ritual where someone can give you their pain, and you get to experience it for a day. We're gonna do it, so you can understand y/n's pain, and Sodo, we'll see if you'll handle it like you said you could."

They all agreed except Sodo and you.

"No. I don't want y'all to suffer like I do, you don't deserve it" you begged Rain to change his mind.

"You didn't deserve it either. Plus it's only 1 day, when it's been your whole life for you. We'll be fine." He answered, kissing your head.

Rain and Mountain left, to get the materials needed, and Phantom started cleaning, followed by Swiss. By the time it was 3 p.m. they all were done, and you were all in the living room. Rain lit some incense and started the ritual. They all slowly started frowning in pain.

By the time you were done with the ritual, they were all laying on the floor, crying and turning in pain.

You looked at Rain, worried. He smiled at you through the pain, saying it would only be for a day, that he could handle it.

Sodo turned to you "Is it really like that everyday?"

You nodded, saying that some days, it was much worse. They all cried in pain, and you couldn't help but shed a tear.

"Enough" you spoke as you got up to cancel the ritual. Once you were done, Rain looked at you, silently crying.

You hugged him, and he hugged back.
"You don't deserve that, there has to be a way to make it easier for you." Rain spoke, while starting at your face. He could see the pain in your eyes.

All the others had left by now, Sodo taking a shower, Mountain and Phantom in the kitchen, and Swiss taking a nap.

Rain grabbed your hand, and walked towards the entrance.

"We're going out to relax, I'll carry you if you're in too much pain to walk." he spoke as he put a towel in a bag and got out with you.

He carried you for half the walk, while you buried your face in his neck and whispered some "I love you" in his ear.

You arrived at the lake, who was a private lake.

"No one's gonna see us, the owners left for a few months." he explained while he helped you stand.

You quickly undressed and got in the water, hugging him and resting your head on his shoulders. He scratched and massaged your back while complimenting you.

You felt loved and listened to for once in your life. The water relaxed your muscles, and made you feel better.
You swam with him, thankful you had him in your life.
