An awkward talent

Guy's, where'd the rules run off to?

Okay here's said chapter ;)

Egos face was in the middle of the room, he was about to start explaining the first selection, "Now, onto the details of Blue Lock's first selection, starting next week." Yuki was zoning in and out while Ego was talking, not taking in much of the information and only getting bits and pieces

"It's all-or-nothing."

"Huh? Your saying us 11 players from team Z are playing? But aren't we all forwards?" Chigiri replied. "Looks like we'll have to cover other positions too! How about being a goalkeeper?" Now Yuki was getting confused, maybe he should've been paying attention to what Ego was saying, but it's not his fault Ego's so boring.

"I will be CF" (Center-Forward) "Huh- You mean me?" "Except I will." "Igaguri you're on defense!" "Say what!!" Everyone was shouting over each other trying to claim what position they'd be in when Ego cut them all off again.

"Blah blah blah In the beginning blah blah football blah blah sport played with every member as a forward blah blah." That's all Yuki heard, the information was entering in one ear and out the other he was still zoning out, thinking that he should've slept in more and that this wouldn't be good for his health when Ego said, "Throw out what you think of as common sense, reject it, and cram this new mentality deep down those brains of yours. The most important thing for Japan to become the best country in the world, is not 'The teamwork between 11 players' It is to have . . . A 'hero' among them." And with that Ego turned off the screen, leaving the new teammates, and rivals, to sit in a pool of their own thoughts.

"ROCK! PAPER! SCISSORS! SHOOT!" The boys were playing hand games to decide who got which position for when they started their first match, you could tell they were nervous.

This first game was gonna make or break them, and there's no telling of what their opponents are going to be until time would come, all they knew was that the opposing team's worst player, would be better than their best. Who wouldn't be worried in that situation . . .

Bachira

Bachira wouldn't, he was bouncing around all excited for his first game, against team X. It would be a game worth remembering, Bachiras monster would tell him, only adding to his excitement.

Yuki lost to Isagi and ended up having to become a center midfielder. Although it wasn't quite a bad position like what Lemon got (Goalkeeper) But he wanted to be forward, he wanted to be the striker. At Least he's still in a position where he's aloud to score a goal, even if it wasn't for his preferred position.

Everyone left the changing rooms, leaving Yuki to finish putting on his clothes. Once he left he noticed that everyone had already gone to the field and gotten into their positions.

Team Z and X were standing on either side of the field, never breaking eye contact, each person with a different aura, unique to themselves only. The silence was broken when they all heard someone rushing toward the game. And just as the door was pushed open once again on team Z's side, they looked to catch sight of a blondie rushing through.

"Ah- Sorry for being late, I just finished getting changed." Yuki was now walking to his assigned position, giving off a shy smile to those who looked him in the eyes. Some had small pink blush on their cheeks while others were trying to look anywhere else but at Yuki.

Once Yuki was where he was meant to be the loudspeakers shouted "Kick off!"

Once the game had begun Isagi ran ahead, only for three team X players to try to steal the ball from him. Just as he was getting in position to pass the ball to Bachira, Raichi came up from behind and took the ball. "Wha?! Hold on!! What are you doing?! I'm on your team!!" Isagi shouted towards Raichi "You just gotta score the most goals to survive, am I right? Screw this team! I'll win this playing my way!" Raich replied with a smirk evident on his face. He was now beginning to run with the ball when Kunigami stole the ball off him. "Don't you get it, Raichi? If you wanna play by Blue Lock rules.. Then you'll have to face me. And you'll do it one on one, fair and square." 

While those two were fighting for the ball a team X player managed to get possession of the ball, and..., his teammate took the ball from him. Eventually everyone from Yuki and the opposing team members were in a brawl, trying to take the ball for a point.

Suddenly a spiky haired man came running through the group with the ball. Isagi managed to get in front of him, trying to read his moves, only for Spiky to do a heel flick and easily get past him. He was weaving through team Z's defense line, or what was left of it, when he did a perfect shot, the goal was wide open, with no one around to block the shot. It was an inch away from entering the goal when Yuki appeared out of nowhere and trapped it.

Everyone's mouths were wide open as the ball fell to the ground and rolled away from the net. Yuki, taking everyone's surprise to his advantage, kicked the ball towards Bachira. Bachira was running towards the goal while passing between Isagi and him. Isagi was in position of the ball when Spiky stopped him in his tracks. It looked like the ball was gonna get stolen when Isagi passed towards Kunigami who shot it through the net.

Raichi was pissed at this outcome and started shouting at Isagi for not passing towards him, and swearing that he'd make sure Isagi would never have position of the ball for the rest of the game.

Because of this point Team X realized that they needed teamwork in order to stop Team Z from winning, while on the other hand for team Z they were yelling at each other to give the ball to themselves. Hoping that they'd get the next point.

Team X's Spiky forward managed to score a goal just a few minutes later, Once the ball hit the inside of the net he started shouting to get everyone's attention. "That goal before will be the last you guys'll get, that was just a fluke, heck, your CF didn't even make the shot himself.Your all useless. Unable to do anything by yourselves, and needing each other's help for that goal. Just like how a lowly peasant would think. This king, Baro, will give you all the glory of losing! I will not let you score another goal!"

True to his words Baro managed to get two more goals, making the score 3 - 1 to Team X. Yuki was in the backdrop, knowing that his team was gonna get a loss in this game, and hoping that this would pull their heads in for their next game. However knowing this he still tried his best to score a goal for himself.

He was very far away from the goal but was still in his shooting range, he was about to make the shot when Igarashi took the ball from Yuki when he wasn't paying attention. Eventually losing the ball to some team X players and leading them to score another goal, making the score 4 - 1 to Team X. Suddenly the whistle blew and the game gave Team X a victory and Team Z a loss.

Team X left the arena leaving team Z in their sorrow.

Wow, Yuki's talented, no?
