Applejack's POV
I paced back and forth in my room, my frustration bubbling beneath the surface. Rarity and her fashion-centric world had always rubbed me the wrong way. As I packed my belongings, anger simmered in me like a vampire bat.
"This is just ridiculous," I muttered to myself, forcefully stuffing clothes into my suitcase. "Out of everybody, why you I have to be paired with Rarity?!?"
Just as I grumbled to myself, Apple Bloom, my younger sister, burst into the room, her cheerfulness in stark contrast to my simmering anger. "Hey there, Applejack! Need any help with packing?"
I took a deep breath, attempting to hide my true feelings from Apple Bloom. "Sure thing, Apple Bloom. Just grab those shirts over there and fold 'em up nicely, will ya?"
She happily obliged, folding the shirts with care. As she worked, she couldn't help but notice my frustration. "Applejack, why are you so upset? Is something bothering you?"
I paused, my anger burning inside me, but I didn't want to burden Apple Bloom with my true feelings. "Ah, it's nothing, Apple Bloom. Just a bit tired, I suppose. Don't you worry about it."
Apple Bloom looked up at me, her eyes filled with concern. "But sis, you know Rarity means well, right? Maybe you two just see things differently."
I forced a smile, not wanting to talk about of my feelings. "You're right, Apple Bloom. Rarity and I have our differences, but we've managed to work through them before. I'm sure we'll figure things out."
Apple Bloom seemed somewhat reassured, her face brightening up. "That's the spirit, sis! I know you can find a way to get along. Just remember, friends stick together no matter what."
I nodded, still hiding my true emotions behind a face of agreement. "Thanks, Sugarcube. You're always full of wisdom. Let's finish packing and make the best of this trip, shall we?"
"You know it sister!"
