When Alysanne and Aemond returned to King's Landing after Aemond had killed Lucerys Velaryon, Alysanne had never expected their mother to blame her for the event. Now ten days later and her mother has ceased to speak to her. Alysanne was given a seat on her brother Aegon's council as an advisor like her mother, and she was better at it then the Dowager Queen. Alysanne had also been requested to patrol the skies of King's Landing with her largest dragon Dragahra King's Landing along side Vhagar and Aemond by Aegon. Alysanne flew through the skies on Dragahra his large leather wings flapped through the air. She spotted Vhagar in the distance below them and the swooped down to the dragon's level.

"Having fun husband?" Alysanne teased as her dragon was far much bigger then Vhagar. Alysanne could notice an eye roll from Aemond and she laughed. "I still don't understand how your dragon of six and ten is larger then the Vhagar." Aemond shouted out over the wind as they flew. Alysanne shrugged. "I suppose I'm just gifted, isn't that right Draga." She said and the dragon growled in response and the twins flew down towards the dragon pit.

Aemond and Alysanne soon headed into the Red Keep to the small council meeting. They walked through and Alicent immediately turned her head towards her children. "I hope we're not terribly late." Alysanne said as she slipped of her leather gloves and took a seat beside her mother. "Aemond. What is your business here?" Alicent asked completely ignoring Alysanne like she had been doing since their return from Storm's End. "The king summoned me." Aemond said walking past Alysanne and towards Aegon. "You do not have a seat at this council." Alicent said and Alysanne rolled her eyes. "Aemond is my closest blood and one of our two best swords. I welcome him." Aegon said and Aemond looked to the map.

"Path to King's Landing is through the Riverlands. We must establish a toehold there, at Harrenhal." Aemond said walking away to a chair by his wife. "The Riverlords will either declare for me or they will meet Vhagar, Drachen and Sunfyre together. And we can burn the blockade while we're at it." Aegon said and Alysanne nodded. "Rhaenyra has dragons as well." Alicent said, "Mine are bigger." Aegon said and Alysanne let out a small giggle. "If we lose the dragons to war, there'll be no calling them back. We must proceed cautiously." Alicent urged and Aegon shook his head. "No. Fat, old Lord Tully will either raise my banner or see his burn. We should fly to Riverrun." Aegon said and then Ser Criston began speaking. "You are the king, Your Grace. You must not put yourself at risk." He said and Alysanne sighed.

"And Vhagar is needed here to deter Rhaenyra from attacking in retribution for the death of her son." Alicent said turning towards Aemond and Alysanne. "Vhagar can be spared Dracul and Dragahra can very easily protect the city without me." Alysanne said and her hand balled into a phist. "Errors were made in the hours following King Viserys' death. We mustn't compound them. You've already demonstrated your might, Your Grace. We must now favor patience and restraint. I send ravens by the hour. Many and more houses will declare for you in time. History and precedent will come to your side." Otto said and Alysanne sighed. She was not worried of what action her sister would take. No. She was worried of what her uncle may do. They needed to act before he caused any damage that was irreversible.
