Hello. So like I said in the last chapter I won't be able to update as often because of all of these tests. But I decided to update now. So yeah. This chapter is in Rachel's perspective. If you are someone who skips the writing in bold then I'll just write it down there.

Rachel's POV
I knew it. I just knew it. I knew this would happen. I knew he would do this. I knew he would betray me like this. He promised...
He said until I was ready to let us go that he would stay with me. Well guess what, I'm not okay! I'm not ready to let us go. I want him with me and not her. I came over to visit him today. I meant to surprise him. I rang his doorbell and I got no response. I waited there until I heard the laughing. Just across the street.
They were there. Jack and Diana. The thought of them together makes me sick. She was on the floor laughing and he was next to her. They looked like they were going to kiss. No. So help me, if they did then Diana wouldn't be breathing. I watched them in the grass and on the swing and staring at the stars. And I left.
I just left. What kind of person just leaves like that? Why would I leave? I'm supposed to be the uptown girl. The one who gets whatever she wants. And something so simple as keeping my boyfriend shot me down? I could have stomped over there in a rage with threats.
I could have Diana secretly shipped off to Africa as a housemaid or just leave her there to rot. I could have done anything in those few minutes when I was debating what to do. But what did I end up doing? I walked away.
Now it's Sunday morning and all I can think about is sweet revenge. I must come up with a plan. I need something. I can't just sit here and wait for them to get together.
I stood up from my king sized bed throwing off the sheets which were messed up. "Would you like me to take care of that?" Maria, my maid, asked timidly. I waved her off as a gesture to clean it up as I made my way towards my bathroom.
Usually, I marveled the sight of my bathroom even if I see it every day. I loved the marble sinks. I loved the large mirror and the jacuzzi which took up most of the space. I loved the gold outline on my walls spiraling in intricate patterns.
But today, I didn't give it a second look as I used the handles of the sink for balance. I looked up to see my reflection.
Hideous was the only word to describe myself. Absolutely hideous. My hair was in a disarray sticking out in all directions. I had dark bags under my eyes which were red and empty. My face was an unusual shade of white. My cheeks were hollowed out, my lips were cracked. In other words, I looked homeless instead of rich.
I splashed cold water on my face suddenly becoming more alert. I grabbed a towel drying off before looking at myself again. I looked slightly better.
Stepping out of the bathroom, I went to my walking closet. "Maria! Activate the escalators will you? And tell me if 'Rachel's Shoe Section' added more stock. Daddy was supposed to order more!" I yelled.
"Yes madam. May I ask which section you will be looking at for today's clothes?" She said as the fluorescent lights made the room sparkle (because of my glitter and rhinestone shirts.) "Yes I will be looking at the 'Not Too Casual but Still Seems Casual?' I forgot what that section was called."
"It was called 'Uptown Clothes.' You rarely go there. You search in the dress section." Maria seemed confused. "Well I feel like wearing uptown clothes today. I was looking at it a few days ago, when you were sick." I gave Maria a look which made her shrink away from me. Good. "I saw some clothes that were absolutely unacceptable. Please bring Mike to that section with the Return pile." Maria nodded her head quickly and scurried off.
She stopped for a minute, turned around and called after me. "The 'Uptown Clothes' section is on the fifth floor, right side. Would you rather take the elevator?" I nodded and walked towards the elevator where Mark, the operator was waiting for me.
"Good morning, ma'am." He pressed the fifth floor button as I waited. The doors dinged almost instantly. "Thank you Mark." He gave me a curt nod. "Have a nice day, Ms. Brooks." I stepped out of the elevator searching the racks for decent clothes. "Ms. Brooks." I turned around. "Oh Mike! Good your here. I don't feel like moving the clothes. Would you?" He nodded dragging the bin marked 'Return' with him as he held up several shirts.
"No."
"No."
"Return."
"Return."
"Return."
"Maybe."
This went on for several minutes until he held up a black shirt. It was shimmery and the sleeves were gauzy. "Bring me black jeans, the good kind, a fur coat and my black purse." Mike nodded. "Which black purse?" I tapped my chin. "Bring me the Chanel black purse. Quickly." I barked. He nodded pulling the bin away with him.
Several minutes later he returned with my selected outfit.
"Here you are Ms. Brooks." I took the clothes. "Go away now. I must change." I shooed him off. I went to my changing rooms throwing on the clothes admiring myself in the mirror. I'll admit. It didn't look bad. Now my hair...
As if on cue, I heard my hairdresser's familiar voice yell, "Ms. Brooks! Maria told me to fetch you for your hair?" Hmm, maybe I won't fire her. I exited the changing rooms following my hairdresser as he organized the tools in front of him. "Alright. For this outfit I'm thinking we leave your hair in a side bun with bangs." I wrinkle my nose in disdain. "No." I shake my head vigorously. "Alright, let's curl it and leave it loose and-" I cut him off. "Do what you will. And get makeup here." By the time, I was finished getting ready, three hours had passed.
And I spent them on my phone talking with Lucy and Jennifer. My best friends. "You should have seen her dress. It was like, totes lame. And those shoes?!?! Ugh, these people need a fashion lesson."
"I totes agree!!!" Lucy squealed. "Also, get a different haircut. That one is making me sick." I told her. Something flickered in Lucy's face until she returned to her usual self. Worshipping me.
"I gotta go. I have to put this plan into action." I said with a devious smile. "What plan?" Jenn said. I sighed. "The one for Jack." I said in frustration. "Oh yeah! Wait I don't understand the plan." Before I could respond, I ended the three way call. They could really be idiots.
I left my house (more like mansion... Not to brag.) and asked Maria to bring me the Ferrari. "I want my red one. Not the one with sparkles." I ordered. She scrambled off to bring me the car. The rich life.
Th car pulled up in front of the water fountain. "Perfect. You can go now." I took over in the driver's seat checking my reflection in the mirror. I pressed the gas pedal leaving the gates of the Brooks mansion.
"Jack is mine. Jack is mine. Jack is mine. Jack is mine." I kept repeating to myself, almost in reassurance. I don't know why I needed it or why I felt intimidated by Diana of all people. I'm Rachel Brooks and I get anything I want.
I pulled up in front of a quaint little house the size of the maid's room. I shivered at the thought of approaching it. Recollecting myself, I did a final check in the mirror fluffing my hair and putting on my devious smile. I stepped out of the car welcoming the chilly air. Thank goodness I chose the fur coat.
I strode towards the house with confidence pushing the doorbell. Excitement bubbled up inside of me. My plan.
The door opened revealing Dominic. "Rachel? What are you doing here?" I pushed past him and entered the house (or whatever it is) looking at it with amusement. "I don't understand how you can breathe in here. The space is suffocating." I say withholding my laugh.
"I mean, what a lovely home." Dominic gave me a cold stare. "Okay, what are you doing here?" He said his voice firm. I walked up to him, using an airy laugh. "Look who's trying to be all big and mighty. Your breakup with Diana is the talk of the school. I couldn't help but notice. Don't you want her back?" Dominic seemed hesitant to answer me.
"Silence means yes. I think we can find a way so we can both get what we want. I get Jack and you get Diana. Are you interested?" Dominic hesitated again, his jaw set and his fists clenched at his sides.
"I'm not interested in playing your games." I grinned. "Oh but this one is fun. This one means Diana back in your arms. Don't you want that?" He still didn't reply. "You don't want her off with some other guy. Holding his hand. Kissing him and not you. Smiling because of him and not you." It seemed like I struck a nerve because his eyes flared with intensity.
"Get out." He said in a low tone. "I can help you, you know."
"Get out!" He demanded. I still didn't listen. "This will benefit both of us. What would you say if I told you this other guy was Jack?" Dominic didn't say anything. I took his silence as an opportunity to explain my plan. "And how do you know Diana will comply?" He asked.
I gave him another devilish smile. "I have blackmail on her. Trust me, Nicki." I said using his nickname. "This plan is foolproof. And by the end of it, they won't know what hit them."

And another cliffhanger. Sorry for the long wait. I gave you guys a feel as to just how rich Rachel is. And I've written rich characters before but none quite like her. She's sassy and mean and my other rich characters and timid, modest and nice. So I was really excited to write her and I guess I got into too much depth with her character. I'm sorry about that. Once again, tests are making me want to repeatedly throw myself off a cliff. So this update was just lucky due to spare time. That also means I didn't edit this. I promise when I have time I will. So sorry for any mistakes. And please read my other story, Behind the Wall! Thanks for all those who read my story. And I'll see you next chapter!
