"Catch me if you can!" I yelled as The strange-looking kid was chasing me as I sprinted over the grass in my backyard. My best friend, Brielle, ran beside me while laughing. He chased after me as she rushed ahead of us.

I don't know if she laughed at the way Sieoink looked or at the fact that we were being chased in general.

I did a sharp turn as he was catching up, which caused him to trip, in the process making the weirdling grab me and fall down with him. He came down on top of me, his face close to my ear.

Oh, hell no.

I began to push him away but soon felt something soft and sticky on me, followed by a pop.

It was a snot bubble.

"EWWWW." I pushed him away forcibly before standing up and looking down at him as my lip twitched in disgust.

With tears running down his face, Sienerd wiped his nose and got to his feet.

"Mianhae! Mianhamnida." He was sobbing loudly and looking at me while more snot bubbles were bursting on his cheeks.

Did he just call me a mulan in Chinese?

I turned to face my five-year old friend, Brielle, who had adopted my disgusted attitude.

When Seliok's mother approached us, he continued to sob loudly.
I turned to see my mom rising from her chair, preparing to speak. Here she goes...

"KHIONAE!"

~~~~
"KHIONAE!" My body tensed at hearing the noise as my eyes were engulfed in darkness. I realized I was in the detention room. I lifted my head up off my arms and mugged Ms. Greg, who called me. She ignored the look on my face. "No sleeping, Ms. Stalce. You too, Ms. Walls."
Before I could say something back. Brielle spoke up.
"Bitch, if you don't get the fuck on, stay dick riding. Pale ass bitch."
"Why I never, how dare you!" Ms. Greg exclaimed in disbelief, her hand now on her chest. "Your behavior is unacceptable."
"Why I never gave a fuck." Brielle said slamming her hand on the table.
"All I WANTED WAS FOR YOU KIDS TO DO YOUR DAMN WORK." She packed her belongings and left the classroom in a hurry as her heels clacked against the floor.
"We already did the shit!" She remarked back, but I'm pretty sure the lady ain't here her.
I sighed, standing up. "Come on, we have no teacher; now we have a better excuse to leave." I looked around the room, and surprisingly, it was just the two of us. "Maybe we can get something to eat."
"Are you taking me on a lunch date?" She wiggled her thick eyebrows. Then slapped my ass randomly.
"Stop being gay." I laughed.
Brielle was Dominican and African American. Her black, curly hair was styled to lay at the top of her chest, and her light skin was baked in perfect makeup. Her black jacket covered her tight white crop top. Her black sweatpants covered her white Crocs that had charms on them.
I've known Brielle since we were first born, literally. Well, not exactly, but we were introduced to each other by our moms, who are best friends, so when we were babies, we just hung out.
"Not my fault, you need to pass some ass up."
I rolled my eyes and walked to the door, with her following beside me.
