"So you understand?" My mom asked.

"Let me get this right. Make sure I'm hearing correctly. You want me to go to America with strangers for the rest of high school. All because you guys don't love me and are shipping me off to get rid of me. No way."

My parents were seated in front of me in the large living room. They sat on the curving couch as I sat on a single sofa. Maeun, my white cat, was purring as she slept on my lap.

"You exaggerated that, son. They are not strangers; that is your mother's best friend. You're only going there because you're just seventeen. We won't be home to take after you, Seo." My dad explained. They never cared about what I had to say; they only cared about what benefited them.

Im not going.

They were not leaving to Japan to take care of a family Emergency . I think someone's sick. I didn't even know we had family in Japan. It's only a four ride and they can't take me?!

"Mom, you have friends here I can stay with; Ms. Eui, I can stay with her! Dad, what about Uncle Choi? We have so much family here that I can stay with. You guys just don't want me here."

"1. You had a fling with Eui's daughter. If you stay there for four months, who knows what could happen! 2. I Trust Tiffany more; and 3. You know we're moving to Amer—."

I cut my mom off accidentally. "By the time you guys move to America, I'll be 18! I do not Need to experience America because I am not staying there."

"Lower that damn tone, Seo. You are going, whether you like it or not. Go pack your shit before I whoop your ass, and I better see it packed." My mom said getting serious.

"Ok, but how come Jae gets to stay?" I asked, referring to my five month brother. I think he's five months.

Instead of a response, she took her slippers off and stood up. With my eyes wide, I stood, grabbed Maeun, and sprinted towards the circular stairs, dodging the two shoes.

I set Maeun down to go into my room. "Wait, mom, when do I leave?" I asked, leaning on the glass banister.

"Tomorrow at 6!" She looked up at me. I opened my mouth to say something. "And don't even! You're on spring break; you won't be able to say bye to your hoes anyway."

"Them too, but my friends!"

"Seo, go!" My dad stepped in. "You're already in enough trouble because of that hideous tattoo!"

I let out a loud groan going inside my room then into my automatic walk in closet. I grabbed my suitcases—the ones I only use when I travel, not when I stay.

I'm a grown man. Capable of doing anything on my own. I don't Need parents. I can simply go to the airport and take a plane to a different country. Spain or Chile. But all the girls there have fat asses. Their asses do not need to be big; small ones are better. They should get tips from Asian girls.

France it is then; I'll give myself to them anytime. They liked bread so much, I can give them a ten-foot long.

Soon after I finished packing, my white but black shaded room looked as though I was moving. I grabbed my phone and called my group chat, which had my three friends. Alix, Hyun, and Yeon All of them answered since they were already active.

"What do you want, you dog?" Hyun asked with his mouth full of something.

"Not to brag or anything, but I'm moving to France by myself," I said, placing my phone against my three screens on my desk and then sitting in my gaming chair, leaning back. How am I going to pack this?

I looked up at my chandelier that I was turned off but still glistened from the soft light of my gaming table.

It was silence for a little until they started laughing as if I had said something funny.

"He really thinks he's going to France!!!" Yeon yelled, laughing along with Hyun and Alix.

"It's that or America! If you're going to miss me, then just say that." I looked back down huffing

"Wait, so you're actually going somewhere?" Alix said, who seemed to be outside.

"Yeah, I'm supposed to be going to America, but I decided to go to France; I'm grown. So I can go wherever, whenever."

It was silent again. Once again, they all started laughing.

Bro.

"You guys obviously don't deserve my goodbyes." I hung up and tossed my phone on my Alaskan king sized bed, after plotting some I eventually got up and laid down. I took my shirt off and snuggled into Maeun and sighed.

I don't care if they think I'm joking; I'm not going to America.

Another reminder that the italics means that Seo is speaking Korean. But his parents really rushing that poor boy out they house 🫣. How y'all feel about that? Cause me personally I wouldn't let that slide🤷🏽‍♀️
