-𝓢𝓮𝓸-

I hate my family.

I stood in the middle of the airport, now in Miami, some stupid city. I've been on that damn plane FOR 18 HOURS AND 45 EXACT MINUTES. I grip the carrier that held Maeun in it, and the bag that held my food I have yet to touch.

I lay in bed and looked at my phone, which read 4:58pm. I've been in bed all day pretending to be sick. I think it's actually working. Besides my mom's weakness is me getting sick.

"MOMMYYYY." I yelled for the tenth time, fake-coughing loudly. Maeun jumped up, scared, with her tail in the air. I don't feel bad; I'm trying to save the both of us. I knew they were awake because they get up at 7 every day.

Maybe they'll believe me if I start crying. I thought of the most sad scenario in my head. Not getting my dick sucked from my favorite bitch for months. That's when tears threatened to come out of my eyes.

I finally heard footsteps, so I did a loud sneeze. "ACHOOO!"

My mom came into my room with her slippers in her hand. Before I could scramble out of bed, my mom grabbed my ear and pulled me out of bed.

"MOM CHILL." I tried to block the hits.

"Get some damn clothes on so you can fucking leave SEO!"

"But mom, I'm sick; I have a fever. Here, feel."
She had sympathy for me for a second until she looked like she remembered something. She started hitting me with the slipper as I tried to stand up.

"OK, Mama Imma, GET READY!"

"When you get there, Tiffany's daughter will help you to the house. Your car is getting flown out there; they should call you and Tiffany should text you. I'll give you both of their numbers."

"So basically, I have my own exporter. Cool."

"You idiot." She hit me one last time, pulled my ear, and then left. My dad must've convinced her I wasn't sick. I got off the floor and began to get ready.

-35 minutes later-

I sat on the brown wooded-floor and took my slippers off and packed them, then I slid my White Oreo Jordans on. All my bags were placed in my Mercedes. I turned around to see my mom, who was looking at me. My dad had already said his goodbyes to me and left.

"I don't want to go; what if I get lost?"

"You won't get lost." My mom came to me and hugged me tightly, her head resting on my chest.

"Can I atleast say bye to my girlfriend" she broke the hug and slapped my neck.

"You don't got no damn girlfriend Seo, if you would've said 'can I say bye to Jae,' I would have thought about it."

"Ok, no wait, mom I want to say bye to Jae!!"

"No, you're late; I packed some food for you." She fixed my gray hoodie and kissed me on the cheek. "Call me when you get to the airport."

My eyes widen. She'll know the plane and know I'm trying to go to France.

"No worries, mom, I'll be fine on my own; I'm a grown man."

She looked at me and then started laughing. "Boy, if you don't go, call me too. Talking about you grown, bye Seo." She kissed me on the cheek one last time and pushed me out the door. I sighed and went to my car.

-Present time-

I sat down in the hard chair, still upset that I was here. It was now 7:13. My exporter is late. I've been here for two hours waiting for it. What do we pay people for nowadays?

I heard Maeun meow, so I unzipped her bag to feed her, But instead she ran out, running across the chairs.

"MAEUN!" I dropped her carrier and ran after her as she began running in circles. I jumped over the chairs to cut the distance, but she went underneath them and ran in the opposite direction. I got down but dropped the food bag, spilling it everywhere. "Shit. MAEUN!" I said, jumping over the mess.

This situation attracted the security guards and other people now watching. I heard a whistle blow and heard one yell, "Stop running!"

"RUN NIGGA RUN!" Someone I assumed who was watching this tragic situation yelled

They started running after me and Maeun, which only made us run faster. A security guard tried to jump on me but I dodged him.

"DAMN! HE BROKE THAT NIGGAS ANKLES!" Someone else yelled.

Maeun ran to an old lady who had her hand out with a treat? In her hands. I stopped running when I reached her, but the chubby security guard chasing me ran into almost knocking me over. Then grabbed me roughly by the arm. I was about to punch his greasy ass until the lady spoke.

"I'm sorry for my grandson here. Please excuse him. I can pay for the damages."

They let go of me and looked down at her expensive outfit and name tag. "Uh, no problem, ma'am, thank you!" He said and left after helping the other guard up. Damn Americans.

I looked at her, also trying to remember what language she spoke. "Uhm, thank you, miss." I finally spoke in English and picked up Maeun. To be honest, I'm just confused on who she is and why she did that."Sorry for the trouble." I apologetically bowed slightly, but remembered that they don't do that here.

"No worries." She smiled and touched my head. My eye twitched behind my hair, since I didn't like my hair being touched. I put too much effort into my hair for it to be perfect. Can never be nice to people. I immediately stood straight. "You better get your stuff, young man; there are thieves out here."

I barely took in her appearance and just knew the name.

"Yes ma'am." I went back to my seating area and put Maeun back in her carrier, which made her claw at me. "You're staying in there. Stupid cat."

After the guards released me they all went back to minding their business. I grabbed my phone and looked at it. No text yet. I sighed and sat down, thinking about how to survive in America as a homeless person if I don't get a text soon.

13 minutes later

My phone finally pinged with a text from someone random. Final-fucking-ly. I clicked on the notification and read it.

???: Hello Seo, This is Ms. Tiffany. I'm sorry if you waited long, but my daughter is in front of the Starbucks shop. Her hair is ginger. Could you tell me what you are wearing so I can tell her?

I replied to her and got up, grabbing two bags. Shouldn't the exporter carry this? And that Tiffany lady better be sorry for having me wait hours for her damn daughter.

I made my way onto the moving walkway and followed the signs to Starbucks. I looked around until I finally saw it—the dark, ginger-haired exporter. Great
