The Only Way Is Through The Rain

Sophia had turned up at school good hour; left to wait, however, the only downfall was that there was nobody there besides Sophia herself and a new girl that Sophia had never seen before. The new girl was coming straight towards Sophia with a smile on her face which could only possibly resort to one thing which could only have been a friendly introduction especially when all Sophia wanted to do was to hopefully be able to help her to find her way to her classes.

"Hello. Do you know where classroom 1a is for English with Mis Hevensdale?" Asked the new girl.

"This is the classroom that your looking for" Sophia responded "Also my name is Sophia, what about yours?" Asks Sophia with a smile on her face.

"Im Claire. I'm new here and I hope that you are alright with me sitting with you in this lesson by the way." Claire asked

"It's alright, don't worry about it I don't mind I would love for you to stay here" Sophia responded with a smile on her face.

As Sophia and Claire talked for the next house and a half they didn't even realise that Miss Hevensdale was waiting for them to come into the classroom however because they were both deep into conversation Miss Hevensdale started the lesson without them.

Although Sophia didn't like to fall in love with someone after either a few hours to even a few days however there was nothing that Sophia would and could do anymore after all Sophia was a lesbian and as a result, Sophia couldn't stop herself from falling in love with Claire any more than what she already had done so far, especially since they had only been talking for an hour and a half in the morning and the same day that they had just met each other.

"I think maybe we should go into the classroom now, Miss Hevensdale has probably been waiting for us to come in but they decided to start the lesson without us" Sophia exclaimed with a smile on her face before nervously giggling together who giggled in sync with each other. Not only that but as they both walked into the classroom it was as if the whole world stopped and looked at them in complete awe and surprised facial expressions, all because they looked like they were going to start kissing any second.

As Claire sat down next to Sophia at the same table, Oliver looked at Sophia with an expression as if he wanted to punch Sophia across the face for making him look as if he was a complete idiot who didn't know anything about her and especially because Oliver felt as if he had been lead on by Sophia for the past few weeks of messing around in her bedroom when her grandparents never knew about it at all, however now Oliver knew exactly where he stood within Sophia's life and exactly because Sophia had feelings for somebody else that Oliver wouldn't understand because he wasn't a girl who was in love with a girl.

"Are you serious right now Sophia? You're going to throw away everything that we had built up all because some new girl has decided that she is going to go to the same secondary school as we do. Well isn't that just a brilliant friendship that was going to be so much more? I guess all you wanted was to be friends, but yet you led me on to think that you wanted something so much more than that."Oliver explained completely losing his shit in front of everyone in the class all because he knew that he should never have changed Sophia into the blood-sucking beast, of a monster that she is now. After all, Sophia will never look at Oliver the same ever again.

"Look. I am sorry Oliver however I don't see us being more than friends. I only see you as a friend and a friend only because I would never look at you in that sort of way or even think of you in that sort of way either. Im sorry Oliver however but if I want to be with someone else but that's my choice. If I want to be able to go be with someone else and I choose that to be with Claire I will want to be with them that is my choice of the matter not yours Oliver and not anyone else's decision." Sophia explained, knowing that she would probably end up in the worst situation possible or even the worst part about all of this, which would have been either bullied for being a lesbian. Or in Sophia's terms, the blood-sucking lesbian, or the worst situation of them all would be that Oliver would completely disown Sophia for good and they would never speak talk or even communicate with each other ever again, not even in the hallways either which only meant that Sophia would never be able to have a single drink of blood with Oliver ever again.

"Look, Oliver, we can still be friends but we can also still be the best of friends that we have been over the past few months. I promise I don't want to lose a best friend and the very first best friend ever. Please." Sophia nearly begged Oliver with a weary mile on her face to try to convince him to still be friends with Sophia. However whether Oliver would still be friends with Sophia for the rest of her life and for the rest of the school year.

"I'm sorry Sophia but I think I will need to think about it, because I still cant believe that you would even betray me like that" Oliver explained.

As Sophia and Claire walked around the school after their English lesson Sophia tried to distract herself from the worst scenarios possible, however with every step that Sophia took it got more and more harder to ignore everything Oliver had only just told her twenty minutes ago.

Claire tried her best to distract Sophia from everything that had just gone down in the English lesson.

However it was funny because Sophia had already told Claire about her life story starting from the beginning of exactly what had happened with her parents and so much more, it was as if everything was going to be going in the right direction. Or that's what Sophia thought, before heading back to her next class with Claire only to find out that the test that Sophia had taken a few days ago, was placed onto Sophia's desk with the grade that she was always scared of the most of.

Sophia Marsh, the girl who always got nothing but A***s had gotten her very first failed test in her entire list of being at the Secondary school Sophia Marsh had failed her very first test in her entire life.

"But...I..No ... .I couldn't have" Sophia started to panic even more so when she couldn't breath because she was panicking so much that Sophia forgot that taking in oxygen and breathing out carbon dioxide was a thing that she had to do.

"Sophia, are you alright? You need to breath before you pass out and we don't want you to pass out." Clair exclaimed to Sophia before grabbing her and placing her down gently onto her chair making sure that there was no danger around Sophia at the same time knowing that it could have led to the worst accident possible in the entire school. Claire had a feeling that it was going to be a long day for Sophia today so she just wanted to be able to make sure that everything would more or less end up with the most relaxing day possible even if it meant that Sophia needed to take the rest of the day off, Claire just wanted to make sure that Sophia didn't panic any more about her test score but Claire knew that it would be hard knowing that the very first time that Claire remembered failing a test was back in her old secondary school where, Claire had to be taken to hospital because she couldn't breath and then passed out hitting her head off the table that was behind her, causing Claire to knock herself out, nearly resulting in having a concussion.

As the rest of the day passed by dragging second by second, Sophia managed to bring herself back to her senses again which may have taken a good twenty minutes, however Sophia knew that she would have to hurry and leave as soon as she was ready knowing that she had her two jobs to also keep on top of alongside all of the homework that Sophia also had to do.

It had only been about a month that had went by since that incident where Sophia had failed her maths test and couldn't breath, however since that Sophia and Clair had gotten so much closer and they had even been spending so much more time together to be able to figure out more about what they want to be, or whether it was wise to still be friends or take it further and start to explore their relationship as lovers, the first gay couple in the secondary school that anyone was aware of.

Not just that however Sophia really wanted to be able to explore a physical relationship with Clair, however at the same time Sophia knew that it would also take a lot of time to be able to focus on her own grades along with focusing on herself with focusing on the relationship at the same time.

However if there was one thing that Sophia knew, it was that no matter what however, it didn't matter what, because Sophia knew that if anything bad ever happened to her, the only way that Sophia could go was forwards, through whatever the weather had thrown at her.
