lani was still asleep by the time the day was over. she was sleeping so peacefully, until fez came in.
"yo.. is she asleep?"
i nodded to his question.
"does she wanna go home?"
"i don't think so, not after seeing maddy with that bitch." i muttered.
"alright, you'll be able to carry her?"
"yeah i'll be okay."
he nodded, going out of the freezer. i slipped my hand under head and one under her legs. i then carried her out of the freezer and into the back seat of fez's truck. i sat down in the back and let her head back onto my lap. when we got home, i took her to my bedroom.

i slid her shoes off and set them on my shoe rack. i didn't think that the pants she wore would be comfy to sleep in, but i didn't want to take them off of her cause that's weird, so i pulled a blanket over her and went to my desk. i thought of things i could do to distract myself, but nothing came up. i spun around in my chair, but nothing was working. i got up and went to the living room. as i laid there, i started to get tired so i put my phone down and dozed off.

lani pov
i woke up in a familiar looking room.
'where the fuck am i.'
i got out of the bed i was in, and and out of the door. i looked around, and i wasn't in a strangers home. it was ashtray's and fezco's home. i took a sigh of relief, and went to the living room. i saw ash on the couch. there was no one in the kitchen, so i went there and looked in the fridge.
'hmm, eggs and bacon, and pancake powder. that's a quick and easy breakfast.'
i took the ingredients out of the fridge and placed them on the counter. i found two pans, one where i could cook the pancakes and the other for the bacon and eggs. before i did anything i washed my hands. i took 5 eggs and cracked them into a bowl. i put salt, pepper, and garlic powder into the bowl. i then took their milk and poured a bit of that into it. i mixed that and put it to the side. i made the pancake mix quickly so could start cooking those as they would take longer than everything else. i opened up the pack of bacon and placed them onto the pan. those would also take a minute to cook, so i started on the pancakes. they cooked way faster than i thought, so when those were done, i made the eggs. i looked in the fridge to see if they had any cheese. they did. i took that and tore it apart to place on the eggs. i continued to scramble the eggs until they were done. i then flipped the bacon. the bacon only needed a few more minutes, so i started plating the food. i gave ash and fez 3 pancakes, and 2 big spoons of eggs, and 5 pieces of bacon. i decided to give them big portions because, well we know why. i then decided to go wake them up so they could eat.
"ash." no response.
"ash." silence.
"ASHTRAY." ...
i went to the front of the couch and crouched down.
"ashtray, wakey wakey eggs and bakey!" i said, poking him. he was really deep in sleep, so i checked his pulse. okay so he was awake, but just not awake awake. i didn't know how to wake him, so i slapped him.
"bro what.. why'd you do that.." he said getting up.
"you weren't waking up.. breakfast is ready. you have three pancakes." i said walking to a random door.
"fez.." i said peeking in.
"yeah."
"i made breakfast."
"alright, i'll be out in a second." he was caring for his grandma. his granny was a bad ass bitch, i'll tell you that. she knew how to handle business and i admired her for it. anyway, i was ready to go eat.

"lani, this shit is good as hell." ash said pointing his fork in the air. i laughed at him, and sat down. he poured almost the whole bottle onto his pancakes. i decided not to say anything though. then fez came out.
"woah, lani. this looks really good." he said smiling.
"thank you."

we finished eating in a little bit of time. i went to the couch and just chilled there. until i got a message from maddy.
'i don't care where you are, i just need to know if you're safe.'
she seemed worried, so i texted her that i was safe. she hearted my message and left it at that. i felt a little bit guilty, but i knew she felt it more than i did.
