1.2: The Fastest Woman Alive

This is the part where I'm supposed to do the whole intro thingy. Hope Mikaelson, fastest woman alive and one and only tribrid... But you know all that already. All right, let's get to the good stuff. You see that smoke?

A building is on fire as black smoke rolls out of the windows and up toward the sky.

That's a fire on Western and 3rd in downtown Central City. And that blur?

The Mikaelson could be seen running down the streets of Central City leaving nothing behind but wind as purple lighting followed behind her.

That's me on my way to it. I'm going 352 miles an hour. And it's a slow day.

Hope continued to run as two fire trucks made their way to the burning building.

"This is Ladder 52. We're still at least two minutes out." One of the firefighters says in his walki talki.

"People are gonna die in there." A man on the other side replies.

"I know."

Hope passes the fire trucks and runs over a bridge.

"Hope? Hope!" Matt says as he and Cisco stand in the cortex monitoring the speedster while Hope stops running.

"What? Did I miss it?" Hope asks clicking her earpiece as she looks around.

"You overshot by about six blocks." Cisco replies while holding a sucker in his hand. Hope stops looking around and then closes her eyes with a sigh as her finger moves off of her earpiece.

"Sorry." Hope makes a face before running back to where she had just come from.

"Paige! My daughter! Has anyone seen my daughter? Paige!" A woman yells as she looks around the crowd that was gathered in front of the burning building. Hope finally reaches her destination and runs through the crowd and past the woman.

"Whoa!" The crowd says as a flash of purple lighting zooms past them and into the building leaving a big gust of wind.

"You there yet?" Cisco asks as he and Matt watch Hope from a computer in the Cortex not noticing a woman watching them.

"What are you two doing?" Caitlin asks causing Cisco and Matt to turn off the computers and turn to her.

"Nothing." Cisco shakes his head and then pops his sucker into his mouth while Matt takes a sip of his coffee.

"Who were you guys talking to?" Caitlin slowly walks closer to the other two who share a fake confused look.

"No one."

"Are you two talking to Hope?"

"Who?" Matt asks causing Caitlin to turn her attention to him.

"Hope Mikaelson? Struck by lighting? Is your sister? Was in a coma for nine months? Woke up being able to run faster than the speed of sound? Ring a bell?" Caitlin asks now standing in front of Matt who looks at Cisco then they both shake their heads.

"No. Haven't talked to her."

"Cisco, Matt, there's fire everywhere!" Hope yells as she stands in a hallway of the burning building. "Cisco, Matt, are you still there?"

When Hope's voice came through a speaker in the Cortex the group of three turned to look at it. They slowly turn to look at each other while Caitlin gives Cisco and Matt a look.

In the burning building, a little girl walks into the hallway while holding a stuffed animal and wearing her pajamas.

"Mom? Mommy!" The little girl yells as she looks around and on the other side of the hallway stood Hope.
