~CHAPTER 04~

(IVY'S POV)

we are sitting in class, when the teacher calls on maya to 'share something you did over the summer'.

this is not gonna go well.

maya stands up and explains that the most memorable thing she did over the summer was watching ACE VENTURA : PET DETECTIVE 6 times in a row.

oh no.

i was so embarrassed FOR her. she proceeded to do a RIDICULOUS impression of ace ventura.

i was cringing but at least some people were laughing. although, i don't know whether they were laughing with her or at her ..

once she finished with her .. performance, she sat back down next to me and began writing a note to brandt.

"ok, so what do you think about this to give to brandt?" maya said asking the both of us while showing us the note.

i, actually, didn't think the note was that bad. it was written pretty good.

"yea, i think it looks goo-" i began saying but was cut off by anna.

"um actually, i think it could go more like this" anna interrupted.

i rolled my eyes. they never listen to what i have to say. might as well just stay shut.

i read what anna had put on the note.

'waz ⬆️ ? les b u + me?'

terrible. god, it was so bad. but i didn't even try to say anything because i knew they would just ignore me .. like they always do.

there was always a 'duo' in a 'trio'.

i knew this but it hurt to admit.

the bell rang as they passed the note to brandt. i left the class walking towards my locker, emptying my bag to get ready for lunch.

while i was doing that, i noticed brandt and dustin running back and forth yelling 'ugis'.

i had never been so confused. 'ugis'?

i walked up to maya and anna.

while i walked up to them, i made eye contact with dustin and i could see his face physically drop.

what did he do now ..?

"hey, what's going on?" i spoke looking at both the girls and becca.

"oh honey, don't you know? it means 'ugliest girl in school'. " said becca in a sarcastic tone.

i know this bitch isn't talking.

"what?! the fuck is wrong with you becca?!" i say with anger in my voice.

"what? i wasn't the one who said it! they're so mean." becca said shrugging her shoulders.
