Part 7: Altaria

A week has passed, and Kendall was informed that she was invited to the Altaria kingdom for three days and two nights. "Now, Prince Roberto wants me to stay over?" Kendall asked. "Yes. Do you not want to?" Zain asked pouring tea. "I do. He seems like a fun and kind person." Kendall said. "Very well. I shall confirm it." Zain said.

He was on the phone, and then he faced her. "You will go tomorrow, and remember you must-" Zain said. "I'll be careful, Zain. Please don't worry so much." Kendall said. "I can't help but not worry about you." Zain said. "I'll be fine, nothing bad happened last time." Kendall said. "Please forgive me." Zain said. "I forgive you." Kendall said and giggled.

She rode in the next day with Zain driving, and made it to Altaria kingdom. He opened the door for her and she stepped out with her bag. "It feels like I've been here yesterday." Kendall said. "Welcome, Ms. Kendall." Alberto said walking up to her. "Hello, Mr. Alberto." Kendall said. "I see you still remember me." Alberto said. "Of course." Kendall said. "I hope he didn't find out that prank call was from me..." Kendall thought. "Alberto, please take care of her." Zain said. "I will, Master Zain." Alberto said. "I'll take my leave, farewell for now, Ms. Kendall." Zain said going into the limo and driving off. She waved at him. "Please follow me, his highness has been expecting you." Alberto said. "Thank you." Kendall said.

She followed him into the castle. He opened a door which revealed a nice looking room. "This will be your room for the next three days, Ms. Kendall." Alberto said. "Thank you very much. It looks really nice." Ariana said. "I'm glad you like it. If you need anything, please don't be afraid to ask me." Alberto said. "Yes, Mr. Alberto." Kendall said. "Please call me Alberto. I admire your politeness for such a young girl like yourself." Alberto said. "A lot of people seem to think that." Kendall said. "Kendall! You're here!" Roberto said coming in the room. "Your highness, please lower your voice." Alberto said. "Sorry, Al. I was just excited that she's here." Roberto said. "I understand, but please maintain yourself. I have to prepare tea, so please excuse me." Alberto said and left the room. "Hey Kendall... Do you want to go out with me?" Roberto asked. "...What?! Kendall asked blushing. "It is what you think. I want to go on a date with you." Roberto said. "W-W-What? B-but..." Kendall stuttered. "Silly Kendall, just a friendly date." Roberto said. "Oh... Ok. Where are we going to go?" Kendall asked. "We're going to walk around town." Roberto said. "Don't you need to inform Alberto about this first?" Kendall asked. "I already know he's not going to, but just to set the mood." Kendall thought. "I could... But I won't." Roberto said. "He's going to be angry, and when he does find you, you'll get in trouble." Kendall said.

He lowered his eyes. "This is no fun. Please..? Please consider." Roberto said giving her puppy eyes. "Fine..." Kendall said. "Great!" Roberto said and grabbed her hand and went out the room together.

The both of them were in town, walking side by side together. "Are you sure this is ok?" Kendall asked. "Of course not! That's what makes it fun." Roberto said. "Oh, Roberto... We're going to get in trouble. Just saying." Kendall said. "Don't be. You won't get in trouble." Roberto said. "I'm a victim, and he'll say something like 'Ms. Kendall, you should've considered not going with his highness'." Kendall said trying to imitate Alberto's voice.

He laughed at her imitation. "You're good at mimicking Al's voice." Roberto said. "But you get my point, right?" Kendall asked. "Kendall... You need to loosen up... Stop being stiff about this." Roberto said. "I'm sorry, but I've never disobeyed anything before." Kendall said. "Then I shall make this first experience fun." Roberto said. He took her into a café and then some clothes stores.

He was carrying some shopping bags that were things he bought for Kendall. "Is it ok for you to buy all of these things for me?" Kendall asked. "Of course. You're like my little sister, and I couldn't resist not getting anything for you." Roberto said. "Roberto... You're very kind." Kendall said. "And you're too mature for your age." Roberto said. "What?" Kendall asked. "You should act more like a child since you still are one." Roberto said. "Well... That's easier said than done. I have to be in the mood to be childish, but in this situation I can't help but act only mature." Kendall said. "Really? How so?" Roberto asked. "I just grew up like this." Kendall said. "I'm getting a little hungry. Would you like to accompany me to a cafe?" Roberto asked. "Yeah, I guess so." Kendall said.

They sat outside of the café sitting right next to each other. "Why do you have to be so cute?" Roberto asked and hugged her. "He called me cute! OMG!" Kendall thought. "Your highness!" A familiar voice said. Roberto quickly let goed.

Alberto arrived in front of Kendall and Roberto. "Well... Looks like fun time is over." Roberto said. "How many times must you do this?!" Alberto asked. "You've done this before? Kendall asked. "Of course! Why else would I be used to this?" Roberto asked laughing. "Your highness! Come back to the castle at once!" Alberto said. "Ok. Ok. Al." Roberto said. "Alberto, I'm sorry." Kendall said bowing. "You're not at fault, Ms. Kendall. I'm sure his highness pressured you into doing this." Alberto said. Roberto rubbed the back of his head, laughing. "Let's go, both of you." Alberto said.

It was night time, and Kendall was in her room getting ready for bed. She heard a knock on the door. "Come in." Kendall said. The door opened and revealed Roberto. "Were you just going to sleep?" Roberto asked. "I was, but do you need anything?" Kendall asked. "I just wanted to say good night." Roberto said putting his hand on her head. "Ok... Good night to you too, Roberto." Kendall said.

He smiled kindly at her. "We'll do something fun tomorrow, so get a good night's rest." Roberto said. "Alright, but we need to tell Alberto first." Kendall said. "I already did, so it's taken care of." Roberto said. "Ok, I'm looking forward to it." Kendall said and laid down on her bed and he put the blankets over her. "Sweet dreams, Kendall." Roberto said and left the room. She soon after fell asleep.

The next day, the both of them were out at the harbor. "Guess what we get to do?" Roberto asked. She looked around her surroundings. "Are we... Going to ride in a boat?" Kendall asked. "Correct, but I'll be driving it." Roberto said. "You know how to drive a boat?" Kendall asked. "I do, in fact. Please don't be afraid, I have experience." Roberto said. "Ok, are we doing that now?" Kendall asked. "Yes! Come on!" Roberto said grabbing her hand and going towards a boat.

They both put on life jackets, and they got on a boat. He took the rope off, and he put the sail up. "Wow... You really know how to do this." Kendall said. "Of course, we are ready to set sail." Roberto said.

He was at the steering wheel, and made the boat go. She felt the gentle breeze go through her face and blowing her hair. She looked down at the water and saw streaks of water as the boat was going. "This is amazing." Kendall said. "This is the first time on a boat, right?" Roberto asked. "It is, and so far I'm loving it!" Kendall said. (A/N: I never ridden in a boat before TT.TT) "I'm glad that you're having fun." Roberto said smiling.

She put her hand in the water as the boat was going. As she was doing that, it ended up splashing her in the face. He laughed as he saw that, and she laughed along with him.

It was already the next day, and it was time for her to go. She was leaving the room and saw Roberto and Alberto outside her room. "Thank you for letting me stay here. I had a lot of fun." Kendall said. Roberto smiled at her. "I'm really glad you did." Roberto said. "Ms. Kendall, your ride is waiting for you outside." Alberto said. "Alright, I'll be right there." Kendall said. "I'll be waiting outside for you. You can say your goodbyes and then come straight outside, understood?" Alberto asked. "Yes, I understand." Kendall said.

Alberto bowed and left the two of them alone. "It's a shame to see you go already, but we can do this some other time, right?" Roberto asked. "Of course. Being on a boat was a lot of fun. I've always wanted to go on one, and now I can cross that off of my bucket list." Kendall said. He laughed at her comment. "You're silly, you know that?" Roberto asked. "Not really, no..." Kendall said.

He embraced her in a hug. "I know you have to go now, but just give me a minute." Roberto said. "Roberto..." Kendall said. He looked at her and smiled. "I'll see you next time." Roberto said. "Yes, and please take care. See you next time, Roberto." Kendall said and started to walk away. "Wait up for just a second!" Roberto said. She stopped and turned around.

He made it to her and handed her a piece of paper. "Here's my phone number, you can call me anytime about anything." Roberto said. "Roberto, thank you so much. I will do that." Kendall said. "I got his phone number too?! Oh my god! Two princes are cool with me!" Kendall thought. "I'm glad and farewell for now." Roberto said. "Farewell." Kendall said and turned back around and walked away. She went inside the limo with Alberto driving her back home.
