Part 9: Oriens

 On one of the days, Zain was driving Kendall to Oriens Kingdom when she informed that she was invited to stay over for three days and two nights. They were almost to their destination. "Ms. Kendall, remember to be-" Zain said. "I'll be careful. Zain, it's like you're my parent or something." Kendall said laughing. "I'm sorry. I guess I do worry too much." Zain said. "But I'm glad that you look out for me." Kendall said. He smiled at the rear view mirror.

 They arrived at the Oriens Kingdom, and there was a butler waiting outside already. Zain opened the door and she stepped out carrying her bag. "Welcome, Ms. Kendall." The butler said. "Hello, Mr. Yu." Kendall said. "I must not laugh, because his name sounds like 'you'. Pfff!" Kendall thought.  "Please just call me Yu." Yu said. "Ok sure." Kendall said. "Ms. Kendall, I'll be taking my leave now." Zain said. "Oh, ok. I'll see you soon, Zain." Kendall said. "Please take care of Ms. Kendall." Zain said. "I will, Master Zain." Yu said. "Very well." Zain said getting in the limo and drove away. "Let's go inside." Yu said. "Yes, let's." Kendall said.

 They were walking inside the castle. "Is his highness available?" Kendall asked. "Yes, his highness has been waiting to see you." Yu said. "Really? Prince Glenn has been waiting to see me?" Kendall asked. "Of course. He has been talking about the sleepover often, and he mentioned that you made it fun." Yu said. "Really? Wow..." Kendall said. "What are you two talking about?" A familiar voice asked.

 They both turned to the owner's voice, and saw it was Glenn walking with a younger boy. "Oh! A visitor!" The boy said happily. "AW~ It's Alan!" Kendall thought. "Alan... Don't shout." Glenn said. "I'm sorry, brother. Can she play with me?" Alan asked. "Maybe later. I want to talk to her." Glenn said. "Please excuse me. I'll accompany Master Alan at the time being." Yu said walking away with Alan, leaving Kendall and Glenn alone. "Come with me to my office." Glenn said. "Uh... Sure." Kendall said and followed him into the office.

 They sat across from each other. "You've been at the other princes' kingdoms?" Glenn asked. "Yeah, I've been to three of them so far. They were really fun." Kendall said. "I'll try to make your time fun here as well, but don't break anything, got it?" Glenn asked. "Yes, your highness." Kendall said. "It's Glenn. Remember that." Glenn said. "Oh yeah... Gotcha." Kendall said. "What would you like to do?" Glenn asked. "Huh? Are you saying that you don't have anything planned?" Kendall asked. "I-I do!" Glenn exclaimed. "Then what is it?" Kendall asked. "Come with me!" Glenn said grabbing her hand. "Where are we going?" Kendall asked. "You'll see." Glenn said leading her out.

 He was driving a car with Kendall in the passenger seat. "This is escalating quickly... I wonder where he's taking me?" Kendall asked. She averted her gaze to not feel the awkwardness.  "Uh... I had no idea that you can drive, Glenn." Kendall said. "I know, but I'm trying to start a conversation here since it's so quiet!" Kendall thought. "I recently got my license, surprised?" Glenn asked. "No." Kendall responded. "What?" Glenn asked. "Well... Even if you're a prince, you have the privilege to drive." Kendall said. "You understand me." Glenn said. "I suppose I do." Kendall said.

 He parked the car and they both got out. She looked in front of her and it was a huge flower field. "It's the place... Hold up... Does that mean..?" Kendall thought. "Come on." Glenn said grabbing her hand again. They were in the field of flowers, as the wind was blowing a gentle breeze.

 Glenn kneeled down and picked out flowers. She kneeled down and was watching what he was doing. "Making a daisy chain?" Kendall asked. "No..." Glenn answered blushing as he was braiding the daisies together.

 When he was done, he handed her the finished daisy headband. "For me? Oh, thank you." Kendall said. "Put it on." Glenn said. She put the headband in her hair. "What do you think?" Kendall asked.
