Part 15

Prom season was in the air. The school was covered with the words 'Prom'. "Oh god... Prom... I don't know if I want to go since no one asked me and I can't just bring a prince! That'll attract so much attention which makes me uncomfortable..." Kendall thought.

She opened her locker and a note fell out. She picked it up and opened the note. "Am I seeing things or does this really say, 'Will you go to prom with me?' Who gave this to me?" Kendall asked herself. "Oh, I see you read my note." A guy's voice said.

She turned around and saw that the guy was right behind her. "Lucas from Literature Class?" Kendall asked. He was blonde with blue eyes and wore glasses. He looked proper and toned. "Um... You want to go to prom with me?" Kendall asked. He slightly blushed. "Yeah... Will you..?" Lucas asked. "I've never been asked out before! Oh god this is so awkward!" Kendall thought. "Uh... Sure. I'll go with you." Kendall answered. "Great! I'll pick you up at your house when it's the day. Where do you live so I can pick you up properly?" Lucas asked. "Uh... How about we just meet somewhere instead?" Kendall asked. "Alright. How about at the National Park at 7 p.m?" Lucas asked. "Sounds good." Kendall responded. "Great! I can't wait!" Lucas said. "Same here." Kendall said. "Can I get your phone number so we can keep contact in case you or I might come a little late?" Lucas asked. "Sure thing." Kendall said and they exchanged numbers.

After school, she got picked by Zain and was headed to Noble Michel. "Zain..." Kendall said. "Yes, Ms. Kendall?" Zain asked. "You know that prom is happening at my school soon, right?" Kendall asked. "I'm aware. Are you planning to go?" Zain asked. "Well... You see... I got asked by a classmate of mine and so I'm going to go with him-" Kendall said and he quickly pulled over on the side of the road. "What's the young man's name?" Zain asked in a stern voice. "It's Lucas." Kendall said. "How is he like? What does he look like? Does he behave well?" Zain asked. "Zain, calm down." Kendall said laughing. (A/N: Yeah, Zain. Calm yourself! Eat a snickers. You're not yourself when you're hungry XD) "My apologies. I'm only concern on the certain young man you're going to prom with." Zain said. "You don't need to worry. He's well mannered and he's not the type that would hurt me on purpose. He has blonde hair and wears glasses and he's really smart." Kendall said. "I see. I would like to meet this young man to see if he fits the description." Zain said. "You can meet him on the day of prom. My plan was to meet him on the prom day at the National Park at 7 p.m. Does that work?" Kendall asked. "Yes. If it all works out, I'll drive you both to prom." Zain said. "What do you mean if it works out?" Kendall asked. "...Please disregard that. We'll be heading to Noble Michel now." Zain said and continued to drive. "Pffff! Zain totally acts a dad! But seriously... This will be interesting..." Kendall thought.

The day of prom came and maids were getting Kendall dolled up. "Wow... This might be a little too much." Kendall thought. "We're all done, Ms. Kendall." A maid said. "Thank you." Kendall said looking at herself in the mirror and couldn't keep her eyes off the dress she was wearing. "Hopefully I don't stand out. This dress is absolutely stunning that it'll seem like I would get stared at a lot... Not to mention my hair and makeup is top notch. But oh well! I look beautiful and no one could tell me otherwise!" Kendall thought.

There was a knock on the door and she turned around. "Are you ready to go, Ms. Kendall?" Zain asked. She checked to see if she everything in her clutch bag. "Yeah." Kendall said and went out the room with him.

They went down the steps of Noble Michel. He was about to open the door but stopped himself. "What?" Kendall asked. He went to another section of the limo and opened the door. "Please go in." Zain said. She went in and he closed the door behind her.

They arrived at the National Park. He opened the door for her and tried to spot her prom date. "Oh! There he is!" Kendall said walking over to Lucas as Zain followed.
