Strawberry Cake

My Other Half

After finally leaving Hayden I come across this guy.....Again....
I was at a cafe, I ordered a Strawberry cake but when I opened my bag my wallet wasn't there.
It was a big shocker, I looked looked around in panic and saw this one guy....
He was truly the most handsome guy I had ever layed my eyes on.
He was behind me and saw what happened so he came to the front, the counter and said to the cashier

"I will pay" 

then the cashier gave me the Strawberry cake, I took it but stayed there and said to
him

"Thank you so so much, you saved my day"

He said
"Oh not at all, my pleassure"

Then he recevied his coffee and talk away
so ofcourse I followed him and said

"How can I pay you back?"

He said
"it's alright you don't need to"

I said
"no, I can't do that. I won't be able to do anything! If I don't pay you back"

He said
"oh okay, i'll give you my number then pay me back by having lunch with me" *smiles*

I said to myself
"oh god he has such a beautiful smile"

Then I said
"Oh yeah sure" *smiles back*

I said
"Wait what's your name?"

He said
"I'm Samuel, what's yours?"

I said
"my name is Velerie"

He said
"you have a beautiful name Velerie, nice to meet you"

then we said our goodbyes and he walked away........
That day and that interaction was drama-like, and I loved! That.
I wanted to talk about him so I invited Jia to my house.
Eventually the door bell rang, I went to open the door, I opened it and it was Jia!!!
I said in excitement

"Oh my god, oh my god, you have no idea what happened"

She said
"oh god, you found a new guy, did you?"

I said
*Nervous laughter* "you're quite a nice guesser"

She said
"I'm your best friend after all" *laughs*

I said
"Come inside already"

She said
"Ofcourse, let's go!!!"

We both walked to my room and then I said

"URGH, I WANT HIM SO BAD!"

Jia said
"You have said that about multiple guys"

I said
"Yeah...BUT he is different"

Jia said
"okay tell me about him?"

I said
"He looked like an angel on earth, he was straight out of a kdrama. He had those hazel brown eyes, amazing hair and to top it up he was taller than me"

Jia said
"Oh my god, I guess a new chapter has begun. I'm very happy that you finally found someone new after Hayden but main question what's his name? Or you don't know? "

I said
"his name is Samuel and I even have his number"

Jia said
"YOU GOT HIS NUMBER"

I said
"my game is fast, isn't it?"

Jia said
"it indeed is"  *we both laugh*

After that Jia decided to stay over, we slept, then eventually it was 7:00 AM and we had collage at 8:00AM
*Alarm rings*

*Jia says in a sleepy voice*
"Is it already 7:00?"

I said
"Why do you think the alarm rang, anyways we have to be quick, collage starts in an hour"

Jia said
"Yes ma'am....."

We had our breakfast and headed to university.
Soon the class started and the teacher

come in, and said
"Good morning class, today we have a transfer student"

Guess who walked in? it was Samuel,
the trasnfer student was Samuel

The teacher said
"Introduce yourself"

Samuel said
"Oh Hello everyone. i'm Samuel, nice to meet you, I hope we get along" *smiles*

The teacher said to Samuel
"you can go and sit with Velerie"

Then he ofcourse came and sat next to me
but he didn't recognize me as soon as I thought that he turned to me and said

"You're the Strawberry cake girl, right?"

I said
"So you do remember me"

He said
"Ofcourse I do, so when are we having lunch together?"

I said
"How about today?"

He said
"Alright, i'm down"

Then the teacher told us to stop talking since the lecture was starting.....
Soon, time quickly passed and it was already time for lunch so I decided to text him, as soon as I starting typing someone called my name I looked up and saw Samuel
He looked at my home and saw that I was texting him then he said

"Woah, you were gonna text me, were you?"
I said

"Yeah, I was but then you called my name, anyways shall we go now?"

We started to walk and then we reached the exit, then he said

"A new cafe opened across the street should we go there?"

I said
"Ofcourse, we should. To be honest I didn't
really know where to take you for lunch"

He said
"Don't worry about places to go to when we hang out"

That means he wants to hang out with me,
I was quite surprised when he said that.
We reached the cafe he was talking about.
We ordered and then started to eat
He said while looking at me, smiling

"You're pretty"

I was shocked when he said that because it was very surprising and it caught me off guard so I said

"Oh- thanks, that was sudden. Are you always like this or?....."

He said
"I'm always like this but my compliments are always from the bottom of my heart"

I was surprised, I thought to myself
"is he flirting with me?"

So breaking the silence he said
"Wait, did that caught you off guard?"

I said
"yeah, a bit....." *Awkward laughter*

He said
"it's already 2PM"

Time passed so quickly when I was with him, I just never got bored. It felt like I had met my other half...
