You And Me, And Awkward Silence

Samuel and I decided to go to a place he knew at the beach, while walking to the place he was talking about.
Everything felt like a dream because I was walking on a beach with the love of my life while the sun was setting and as he had a bright smile on his face.
We finally got to the place he was talking about it was a wooden boardwalk,
he looked at me while I rested my arms on the wooden ends of the wooden boardwalk.
I smiled as I was glad to be there,
he looked at me and smiled back,
I gazed at him as the wind flew through his hair.
He glanced at me as the sun reflected his brown eyes.
At that point it was just me and him,
and awkward silence....
It was me and him under the beauteous sunset.
With the sound of waves on the beach.
A sound that was pleasing our ears as we fell harder for each other.
He said

"Velerie,can I tell you something?"

To that I said
"Of course,what is it?"

He said
"Velerie,I have been wishing to tell you this for a long time now but I never got to tell you because something always got in the way but I think this is the right moment to tell you"

I said
"What is it?...,"

He said
"I like you..."

When he said those words,I couldn't speak,
I couldn't say anything because he was someone
I was scared to say anything to about how I feel not knowing he feels the same way. I said to him

"I never knew you liked me back,

He said
"Liked you back?"

I said
"Actually...I've liked you from the very first beginning"

He smiled at me with a little bit of shock then.
I said
"I like you too but I was always scared to tell you because I didn't know you liked me back or not"

"I would've told you but I always got nervous around you but I like the way you make me feel even when you're not with me"

I said that while he glazed at my eyes,
creating a romantic tension
between the both of us,
he glanced at my lips before I could say anything to break the silence his soft kissable lips touched mine,our faces were so close together that I could feel his nose against mine and his breathing.
Our eyes remained closed the entire time.
His lips were warm and soft.
He passionately grabbed my waist and held onto it while I wrapped my arms around his neck
Then he slowly pulled away as he passionately caressed my cheeks.
Then Rachel came and when she saw alone she said

"Wait,I didn't disturb you guys,right?"

Samuel said
"Oh no,don't worry"

Then Rachel said
"I'll go now"

But everything was awkward so I decided to go with Rachel. I said to Rachel

"Wait!I'll come with you" .
