Zayn: Milestone #8
(You're Pregnant)
You were running late for work and rushing to get ready when you felt arms wrapping around your waist and a stubbly chin rest on your neck.
"Baby calm down." You hear the soft, sleep filled voice behind you
"I can't Zayn. Some of us have office jobs and can't wake up whenever we want." You snap at him.
He turns you around and looks you in the eye. You weren't one to be snappy and rude so he's concerned.
"Are you feeling alright?" he asks, feeling your forehead
"What? Yeah, I'm... I'm fine. Just tired s'all." You say, turning back to the mirror, pulling your tight curls up into a neat bun, despite the pounding headache you have, and sigh when a few strands didn't fit.
You tuck those behind your ear and rush to your bed room, changing into some work pants, blouse and a blazer. As you reach down to pick up your black pumps you get dizzy. You sit on your bed and groan, holding your head in your hands. Zayn walks in from the bathroom and walks over to you.
"You're not working today." He says, looking for your phone so he could call
"Babe, it's my last day this week. I'll make it." You say, but your voice is weak and you know he's right
He clicks his teeth and finds your phone. He hands it to you.
"You wanna call, or should I."
Sighing, you take the phone and dial your boss's number. She picks up in a few rings.
"Y/N, are you alright?" your boss asks
"Not really. Would I be able to take today off?" You ask
"Of course. If you don't feel well, it's fine. You don't sound well deary. Should probably go to the doctor or somthin'."
"Thank you Mrs. Nelson."
"No problem. Feel better and say hello to your husband for me."
"Will do."
You hang up and Zayn looks at you.
"Well?"
"Jesy says hi." you say, trying to lighten the mood, which he just gives you a look. "She gave me today off, and recommended I go to the doctor."
"Alright then. Do you want me to come along?"
"No... I'll be fine. Don't you have any work today?"
"There's that art expo next week I'm a part of, but I don't have to be there until later."
You nod and lay back, closing your eyes.
"Wanna lie down until we have to go?"
He smiles down at you and nods, lying next to you and wrapping his arms around you before laughing.
