Y/N POV
Hogsmeade Station.

I could not stand being around Harry or Ron, after the incident on the train. Despite having my father tell me, a prince should not show many emotions, I could not help but feel despair in how many others might view me. I was lucky Bjorn and Hermione decided to judge me on my actions and not that of my mothers.

As Bjorn and I walked with the other first years, keeping a good distance from Harry and Ron, we heard a booming voice and saw a huge man, with a big black bushy beard and long black hair.

"Right then! First years! This way, please! Come on, Don't be shy! Come on now, Hurry up!"

We saw Harry lead Ron to the man and Bjorn recognized him as he took Bjorn and Harry to Diagon Alley.

"Bjorn, who is that?"

"That is Hagrid, Y/N. Groundskeeper of Hogwarts."

We all followed Hagrid to a large lake with over a dozen wooden boats as we looked there were no oars. Before we climbed on I was tugged on my robes and I turned to see Hermione who was beaming at me, there was a blonde-haired girl next to her.

"Hello again Y/N and you too Bjorn"

"Hello Hermione, sorry for my rudeness and you are?"

I asked looking to the blonde girl who smiled brightly and I swear I noticed Bjorn shift uncomfortably.

"Hi! I'm Rose Larken, nice to meet you Bjorn and Y/N"

Bjorn, in a moment of uncharacteristic behavior from what I had seen, walked forward and kisses Rose's hand. Hermione and I looked at each other and laughed slightly when we saw Bjorn and Rose with bright red cheeks. Bjorn having realized what he did had brighter cheeks than Rose.

"A great pleasure, to meet you, Rose"

We heard Hagrid call to us saying we should get on four to a boat and help the girls on, Bjorn and I joined Hermione and Rose on the boat. The boats set off all by themselves once we saw Hagrid get in one to himself and we glided effortlessly across the water, all four of us stared in amazement as we went under a low stone bridge and, we were greeted with the sight of Hogwarts in all its magical glory.

I couldn't help but look at Hermione, noticing the distant stars and the windows in the castle walls glimmering with candlelight causing her eyes to sparkle. I kept feeling this strange feeling pang in my heart as I looked at her.

"It's beautiful isn't it?"
Hermione said to none of us, in particular, but in my moment of stupor, as I gazed at Hermione, I ended up having a moment like Bjorn only minutes before.

"Yes, very beautiful"

I said not realizing I hadn't taken my eyes off Hermione until she turned to me and saw me looking at her. Which in turn caused both of us to look away from one another and blushes to form on our faces.

Our embarrassment is stopped when the boats beach on the shore of the lake, we follow Hagrid up a long flight of stone steps, keeping our distance from Harry and Ron. As we reached the top of the flight of steps, a tall grey-haired woman no doubt a professor, with a look of distinction and elegance as she stared down at us. Her slender fingers tapped the stone railing and chatter stopped as we listened to her.

"Welcome to Hogwarts. Now, in a few moments, you will pass through these doors and join your classmates. But before you can take your seats, you must be sorted into your houses. They are Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. Now while you're here, your house will be like your family. Your triumphs will earn you points. Any rule-breaking and you will lose points. At the end of the year, the house with the most points is awarded the house cup."

I heard a croaking sound as did Bjorn, looking towards the woman we saw a toad by her feet, Neville who also heard the toad, launched forward.

"Trevor!!"

Catching his toad, he looked up to see the professor staring down at him as some of the other students laughed, I chuckled slightly only to be elbowed by Hermione.

"Sorry"

The professor waited for Neville to join us again, before she cast her eye over us, which landed on Harry and then Myself.

"The sorting ceremony with begin momentarily "

She turns on her heel and walks into the hall, closing the large door with a slam. As the chatter resumed between the other students I noticed a blonde hair boy, flanked by two larger boys walking up the steps to Harry.

"It's true then, what they're saying on the train. Harry Potter has come to Hogwarts"

Some of the others began whispering and getting excited about Harry being at Hogwarts, including Rose until she saw mine and Bjorn's faces and she stopped, confused at our lack of excitement like the other students. Bjorn explained to her what happened on the train and her enthusiasm about Harry being here died as well. The blonde-haired boy, in a very annoying voice that sounded like a pretentious idiot.

"This is Crabbe and Goyle. And I'm Malfoy. Draco Malfoy."
Ron snickered at his name as did Bjorn, Rose and Myself while Hermione just glared at him from our position behind a couple of students. Malfoy glared at Ron and in our direction, but one look at Bjorn who towered over the other students around us stopped him from attempting to belittle us.

"Think my name's funny, do you? I do not need to ask yours. Red hair, and a hand-me-down robe? You must be a Weasley, You'll soon find that some wizarding families are better than others, Potter. You don't want to go making friends with the wrong sort. I can help you there."

The arrogant tone was apparent, but the look on Harry's face said it all, as Malfoy extended his hand toward him. Harry didn't even attempt to hide his disdain and refused Malfoy's hand.

"I think I can tell the wrong sort for myself thanks."

Malfoy glared at Harry, as the professor returns and taps Malfoy on the shoulder. He walks past Harry with one final glare. The Professor turns to us and beckons us forwards.

"We're Ready for you now. Follow me"
