Today is going to be a good day. We're going on a group hike which I'm excited about.

It's been awhile since I've been so I'm excited. There are some trails Elliot and myself are going to show everyone.

We've been texting about the different trails we want to take everyone on. I was currently getting my backpack ready so we could leave.

I was packing granola bars, water, Gatorade, and portable chargers. "You and Elliot better not make the hike too hard." Paige spoke.

It was currently six in the morning because Elliot and I agreed on heading out early before the heat kicks in.

California heat in mid July hasn't been the best. "We're going on four hikes. The first should be easy, the last a little harder." I explained.

I could see her frown a little. "I can't remember the last time I've been hiking." Paige thought back as she leaned against the island.

"Elliot and I picked our favorite trails we've been on so we hope you guys like it." She looks at me questionably for a moment.

"And Colby's cool about that?" Now it was my turn to look at her confused. "We're all friends." I say.

She sighed so I know we're about to get into a conversation about this. "All I want is Elliot and Colby to be friends." I tell her.

She bites her lip while thinking about it. "I just hope he doesn't get jealous." She speaks up.

I doubt Colby will get jealous. Even though we're not officially together, in the time we've admitted our feelings, I've never seen him jealous.

"I doubt he'll get jealous of Elliot. I mean, he knows I never saw him as anything more than a friend." Paige just shrugged.

Once we had everything packed, we left the apartment. We get to the house at the same time as Elliot, and he offered to drive everyone.

I went ahead and put my bag in the car so I wouldn't worry about it later. Ten minutes later, everyone came and we were loaded up in the car.

Since I had the locations on my phone, I sat up front with Elliot. The girls sat in the middle while boys sat in the back.

Elliot had alternative music playing as he drove. "Elliot, can I help you get a girlfriend?" Kat randomly spoke up, making Paige giggle.

I could see Elliot tense a little. "Yeah, why's that?" He asked while glancing back at her.

She just shrugged while laughing. We both just shrugged it off as we drove to the first hiking spot.

The first one we chose was a look out. It was going to be super easy. Once there, we get out of the car and grab everything we needed.

Elliot had packed a bag of stuff too which should be good. "Savannah and I always had a few rules when we hiked." Elliot spoke when we started.

"Watch where you walk and try to stick with the group cause we can tend to lose service." I inform them.

"Other than that, let's have a good time." He smiled while clapping his hands.

Because of how hot it is, and because of Elliot having longer hair, he had a headband on to push his hair off his face.

His hair always reminded me of someone from the eighties. I know girls love his hair.

It was really pretty out here. I loved hiking in the fall in New York when the leaves were changing cause it was really pretty.

Grant came up and started talking to Elliot as Colby came up to me. "You think I'm going to lose some weight?" He teased.

I laughed a little bit as I looked at him. "You're perfect just the way you are." I could see him smile which was really cute.
