Before I begin the chapter, I would like to say that because of that picture of Grace, my heart skipped about 20 beats. She is so god damn precious. Ughhhhhhhh. That is all.
Grace's P.O.V.
It was a few months later, and Hannah, Mamrie, and I were in New York for a little getaway.
"We couldn't have decided to go to Hawaii instead?" Hannah complained of the cold weather.
I laughed a little bit.
"I figured we'd have a better time here. Old memories are better than new memories." I said.
Hannah touched my shoulder.
"Babe, that was so deep."
I nudged her side.
"Go away." I said, laughing hysterically.
We continued walking down the streets of New York. Mine and Hannah's fingers were intertwined. The fabric of our gloves rubbing against the other. Her's red and mine white.
"You guys are the cutest god damn peaches ever. I can't handle it." Mamrie yells catching every eye on the streets of New York.
We just winked at her.
I point at a bar across the street.
"Drinks."
"I can smell the mistakes from across the street." Mamrie shouts already half way across the street.
Hannah and I jog right behind her. As we walk in, I can smell the sweat and regrets of everyone in here.
"Let's get to the counter. Quickly. Move it. Go, go, go." I say dragging them to the counter.
"Grace, babe, you're eager for a drink."
"Han, I'm always eager for a drink." I smile at her
We have a few drinks and head back to our hotel.
"Guys, that was soooooooo much fun." Hannah said.
Oh, yeah, she was goooone.
Mamrie went to her hotel room, and Hannah and I went to ours.
"Today was so much fun, dude." Hannah said
I nodded.
"I am sleeeeeeeeeepy."
I laughed.
"Okay, okay. Let's go to bed, babe."
She nods.
We got on our pjs and fell asleep.
Guys, I know this chapter sucked so hard. I'm trying to ease back into it. It'll be way better as I write more chapters! Just hang in there guys! I have some feels heading your way.
