Chapter 15

Meanwhile in an unknown place-

"So you've been after the girl for quite a while, what's her name again?"Jos Verstappen asked.

"Her name is Emmelie de Forest and I've had my eye on her for quite a while, she is only mine and if she isn't I won't allow her to be anyone else's."The mystery man replied.

"So she is the one prancing around with my son."Jos replied his mood darkening.

"Yes and I believe you want your son back under your control."He replied.

"Absolutely not he is a disgrace to the Verstappen name I want to see him suffer."Jos replied.

"I have a plan if you are willing to follow, you can get back at your son and I get my girl."He replied.

Jos never liked being the one to follow orders but this man seemed serious if he actually came to talk to him in the first place and decided to listen just this once.

"I'm listening, what do you have to offer."Jos asked.

After the man explained his whole plan Jos asked a simple question which made the man laugh.

"What are the chance your plan will work?"Jos asked.

"My plans always works plus I have a lot of men and a huge artillery.You think that your son can stop me in any way."The man replied while laughing.

"Who actually are you and why are you after the girl anyway?"Jos asked wanting to know the full story.

"You see, in Italy I was very famous and popular I liked Emmelie a lot but she rejected me in front of millions exposing me for who I really am.The public disliked me after that my entire reputation and career was destroyed after that.Since then, I have built one of the largest underworld organisations over the past 2 years and people fear me now.I want to get back at Emmelie have her at my mercy."The man replied.

"I see, that doesn't answer my question though who are you?"Jos repeated himself again.

"My name is Damiano David, former Eurovision Song Contest winner of 2021."Damiano replied.

"Oh I see a guy with a bad reputation for his playboy attitude and messing with girls, yeah your not much different to me then according to the media."Jos replied haughtily.

"We have something in common then and with a common goal I believe it is easy to get what we want."Damiano replied.

"I agree"Jos stated.

"Let's get to work shall we."Damiano replied.

"We shall."Jos replied clinking his champagne glass with Damiano.

Meanwhile back in Austria the next day-

Max woke up to his phone alarm ringing.He quickly stopped it realising that Emmelie was still asleep.He got up from the bed quietly allowing her to sleep in seeing that it was just 7 in the morning.He quickly got ready for the day wishing to spend it with Emmelie before he had to fly to the UK for the next Grand Prix.Soon though he received a call from an unknown number.Confused about who it might be Max received the call to find out.

"Hello, who is this."Max asked

"Miss me son."Jos replied back.

Max instantly froze at hearing his father's voice on the line.

"Why are you calling, I thought you didn't care about me."Max replied back.

"Oh I do care son but you were throwing away your life not doing anything right making the simplest of mistakes on track you were nothing without the car redbull gave you."Jos replied cruelly.
