Chapter 16

Emmelie ran out of Max's room and immediately went to the hotel the others were staying at.As soon as she reached Loreen's room she knocked on the door.Loreen wasn't expecting anyone so when she opened the door to see a tear stricken Emmelie she immediately got concerned and ushered her in closing the door behind her.

"Emmelie what happened?"Loreen asked worried for her friend.

"C-call e-everyone p-please."Emmelie muttered out while crying.

Loreen immediately called everyone to her room stating that it was an emergency.Soon enough everyone arrived and were immediately concerned with what happened to Emmelie.They wanted to know who made their friend cry.Emmelie soon gave them the answer and narrated the whole ordeal of events she just went through.

"That stuck up arrogant man I will kill him."Käärijä muttered angrily.

"I'll help."Alexander replied equally angrily which was surprising since he was usually cheerful and calm.

"N-no guys please he's not worth wasting your time."Emmelie muttered out quietly not wanting to escalate it further.

"Emmelie he hurt you and you think we would let it slide?"Lena questioned.

"No Lena she is right, as much as Max has hurt Emmelie it's not right escalating this matter further right now we need to focus on cheering Emmelie up."Loreen replied.

"Fine, but if you ever need anything we are just a call away."Käärijä replied.

"Yeah don't ever hesitate to call us in need Emmelie we are here for you."Alessandra replied.

"T-thank you guys."Emmelie replied grateful to have such friends in moments like these.

Meanwhile with Max-

 Max woke up after what felt hours to see the concerned look of his friends and team boss all around him.

"W-what happened?"Max questioned.

"You called us mate you were in distress as soon as we arrived you blacked out.Is everything alright?"Daniel asked.

All the memories of the events that occurred earlier in the day suddenly came back to Max as he broke down crying which concerned his friends who didn't know what was wrong.

"Hey hey Max what happened we are here to help tell us slowly."Lewis replied trying to calm down his former rival and friend.

Max slowly but surely told all the events that happened from the phone call he received to him breaking up with Emmelie and her life at risk if he didn't comply.All his friends were shocked except Charles and Lando who had knowing looks on their faces.

"Lewis, Daniel and Christian please just give Max some water calm him down Lando and I got something to talk about."Charles replied as they left the room.

"Max, this is serious we need to alert the police."Christian replied trying to console his driver.

"Yeah mate if a gang is involved it will be dangerous for you as well."Daniel replied.

"N-no nobody will inform the police of this I can't risk Em's life."Max stuttered out.

"As much as I would like to inform the police Max is right this gang is serious I've seen the crimes they've done Emmelie's life would be in danger."Lewis replied back.

"Fine but then what do we do?"Daniel questioned.

By this point of time Charles's and Lando came back into the room after their conversation and they had serious looks on their faces which was weird coming from them since they were usually very jokey most of the time.
