"O nechan!" I screamed while running to my older sister kuroko "Play with me!" I said while hugging her
"ara ara~ you are full of energy today" she said while returning the hug
"let's go outside!" I said happily dragging her out
"Not so fast" my mom appears behind tsukiko
"Mom can o nechan play with m-"I got cut of by my mom taking kuroko from my grasp
"but mom-" tsukiko tried to protest but got cut of
"You have nothing to do with my daughter and she no sister of yours!" She yelled while glaring at me , I didn't say anything just looking at them getting out of the room.

I woke up from that dream more likely a memory, my mom always hated me for some reason Nevertheless I always did my best still my efforts where in vain, I shook of those thoughts and get up from bed and go out of my room, seems like master isn't home yet, I eat breakfast alone then head to the headquarter hoping to see nobara there

When arrived to the headquarter but nobara was nowhere to be seen.
well,if she's not here then I hope my crow would come and send me on my way.
As I walked, I felt someone nearby their temperature radiating , I turn to its direction to see a guy with white hair looking at me harshly, I just glared at him with my blue eyes
"well well, we've got some attitude there" he said not undoing his glare as I looked at him the same way
"are you going to say something or you're just going to look stupid over there"he continued, who does he think he is
"I have nothing to say to someone boorish" I said while turning my gaze away he growled I've successfully annoyed him
"How dare you talk that way to hashira? You should be bowing at my feet right now!" he yelled
Does he think he's special because he's a hashira?how pathetic. I returned my gaze to him with provocative smile
He smirked "you're not worth my time, by don't think I'll let you go with this behaviour little demon slayer " he said as he turned away laughing
I heard another laugh that I recognised quickly as my smile faded
"You seem to have angered our wind hashira, shinazugawa-san is very short tampered" he said while laughing, shinazugawa?wind hashira? Then he must be nobara's older brother
"I have nothing to say to you rengoku-san" I said as my icy gaze met his fiery one
"That's a progress, you acknowledgeded my name!" He said loudly as always
"Why don't you jump into a river" I said flatly
"That wouldn't be enjoyable, perhaps we can go enjoy a bowl of noodles together" he said with a smile
"go by yourself , I don't want to witness your eating habits " I said, I've heard he had a weird eating habit
"Souds like you would consider going with me" he stated as I just looked at him in disbelief
"No! It's not what I meant, I would never sit on a dinner table with you"
"haven't you heard that noodles are more appreciated with friends?" he asked, he didn't want to give up
"we're not friends and we will never be!"I yelled, with that I turn away and started walking
"One day shisaka-san, we'll be sitting on the same table enjoying noodles as friends!" I heard him say from the short distance
he have really gotten into me, how couldn't shinazugawa-san got into me his intensity but rengoku-san did only with his friendly personality, why did kindness bother me more than fury.

I got home and started training to keep my mind out of my stupid thoughts, I trained on my rapidity I wanted to become faster even though I was very fast but the only time someone matched my speed was when rengoku and I clashed swords, he also had more strength than me when our swords clashed I could feel my arm being moved by him, I won't let let that happen again, I will surpass you rengoku kyojuro.

I trained until the sun set when I heard someone knocking at the gates, I go see who it was to see nobara she was holding bags in both hands
"I bought us some food!" She said while smiling
I helped her and let her in, we sat on the dinner table eating while telling about our week

"he asked you to have noodles with him!?" Nobara yelled
"Yep" I simply answered
"Did you accept !?" She asked excitedly
"Of course no why would I" I said curious about her excitement
"You lost your chance of having a boyfriend!" She said dramatically
"YAH! What did you say?!" She started running and I chased her
I chased her for about an hour.
we decided to lie outside to watch the stars in a peaceful silence
"Nobara, can I ask you something?" I decided to break the silence asked
"Of course whatever you want" she replied calmly
"You said that you met someone as cold as me right?"
"Yes, what about him?"she asked curiously
"I want you to tell me you're point of view when talking to him"
"well, obviously I was the one who started the conversation by asking his name and he simply answered , and when I told him my name he didn't answer with anything so I didn't bother asking something like what's your favourite food or what's your favourite colour cause I know he will just look at me blankly without answering and it will only make things akward, but sooner or later I'll make him talk he really seems like a good guy" she honestly answered
"Well, good luck with getting him to talk"

After we lied there for a little more time nobara decided to go back home as I sat on my bed alone thinking about today's events
Rengoku-san seems to really want to talk to me even though I'm always rude to him other people avoided talking to me cause they know they'll get either rejected or ignored by me but rengoku-san never gave up should I give him a chance ,he at least deserves that he's trying reallyhard.
I was like that to protect myself from the pain of loss , I built ice walls around me only nobara can see through them, but will rengoku melt that ice with his flames?
