I made it home in the morning and saw the bamboo stalks I use for training set up again, it was probably master he always encourage my training, I go in the house to see if he was there but I was only met by silence, I go to the yard again and started training . After some time korin came flying to me and asked me to get some rest so she can give missions in the next days.
a month later
I was in the yard training when korin came with a mission she also told me that I have to wait for my mission partner at the headquarter. When I arrived to the headquarter I sat there waiting, I hope it going to take long.
While I was waiting a familiar silhouette came to me
"Hello shisaka-san, long time no see!"rengoku-san said coming to me , I was quit happy to see him
"Hi rengoku-san, how have you been?" I didn't understand why I was so friendly with him
"I've been doing good! And you what are you doing here? Are you waiting for someone?" He asked
"I'm good and yes I'm waiting for my mission partner for I while now"
"Oh, I wish I could join you but I'm assigned to a mission"
"It's fine I can wait a bit more , you should go for you're mission now"
"Yes! I have to go , I wish I can see you later shisaka-san! "
With that he ran if as I watched him with a smile on my face
"Shisaka yuki with a smile?"
I turned around to see my interlocutor
"It's about time to get here" I said glaring at him
"Well, my crow gave me the mission while I was eating, I couldn't leave my food behind "
I already hate him , he's so annoying, I wished that rengoku-san could have been my partner, at least he was less annoying with his cheerfulness
I finished the mission as fast as possible, and my partner tried so hard to talk to me but I turned him down every time
Thinking about this why did I allow rengoku-san to talk to me but not him, I guess it's because rengoku-san somehow makes me feel warmth inside.
I returned to the headquarter, there was a training yard so I decided to go training. When I was training on my speed I felt a warm body approach meaning someone was watching me, when I finished slicing all the bamboo stalks I turned toward my spectator, it was shinazugawa-san the wind hashira
"You still far from reaching a hashira's speed"he just said and walked away
I heard a laugh right after
"You're speed I impressive shisaka-san!" Rengoku-san said with a smile
"Hello rengoku-san, it's good to see you" I felt my face warm up realising what I said
"Hello, It's good to see you to! Would you enjoy a bowl of noodles with me?"
He definitely never give up, at least his trying, if he insists so much then..
"I'm hungry, I think we could use a bowl of noodles" said smiling at him
His face lit up with a bright smile "then let's go!"he said exactly
We walked in a noodles shop that rengoku-san said he liked very much
"Thank you shisaka-san to give me an opportunity to bring a new friend with me" he said seeming happy
I just smiled at him sitting on a table, the shop was umpty it was just the to of us
"Master, a bowl of yakisoba please!" Rengoku-san gave his order
the master nodded and looked at me "how about miss?"
I didn't know what to order
"I'll take the same as him" the master nodded again and went prepare our meal
"Thank you again shisaka-san for accepting coming with me" rengoku-san said looking at me
"I'll be honest with you rengoku-san, I've never done that before" I said, I never did that before even with iva or master we never had time to it outside
"Then I'm honored to be you're first time!" He said cheerfully
Soon our food were placed before us
"Thank you for the meal" I said and rengoku-san nodded
I take my chopsticks and took a bit from my bowl , when bringing it up to my mouth
"UMAI!" Rengoku-san said after having a bite
I dropped my chopsticks startled, was he just announcing that the food was tasty
"Rengoku-san is the food tasty?"I asked him
"Yes!" He took another bite "UMAI!"
I covered my mouth chocked then I started laughing
"You have a beautiful laugh shisaka-san!" He said looking at me
"Rengoku kyojuro, you're probably the most interesting person I've met, I never saw someone enjoying food as much as you do" i said
We continued eating amused by the way he announced that the food was tasty with each bite. I looked at his features, he was actually very handsome
I turned away as I blushed at the thought, I hated the way my temperature betrayed me
I looked at him again after my face has cooled, he was looking into my eyes, I wonder what he sees in them , what does he think when he looked at me?
I suddenly felt uncomfortable being hear with him
I stood abruptly stood up "rengoku-san I'm sorry but I have to go" I didn't wait for a response as I sprinted like a flash
I got out of the city and stopped running leaning against a tree panting, I felt someone approaching, I turned and saw rengoku-san, I was about to start sprinting and when a hand caught my arm firmly
"Shisaka-san I'm sorry if I did something to offend you " rengoku-san said
"It's not you,I'm just..."I couldn't finish I didn't know how to explain, I didn't want him to feel bad
"Yuki?"he used my given name , was he that comfortable with me
"You did nothing, goodbye rengoku-san" and I started sprinting again, I wasn't out of earshot when he said "I hope I did nothing that brings harm to our friendship"
I needed time away from him, why does he have that much effect on me , why did I allow this to happen
The next two months I had solo mission, and about rengoku-san everytime I saw him I turned the other way and he didn't seem to push a conversation
