I was walking down the hallway with tsukiko when we heard muffling noises from our parents room
"Mom is everything okay?" Tsukiko said will knocking on the door
"Yes, everything is fine! go wait for me
in the kitchen I'm coming" she answered with a panicking voice
After some time mom came and gave us dinner
"Isn't dad coming to eat with us?"tsukiko asked
"you're dad went for a trip he won't be with us for a while, sorry he didn't get to say goodbye to you it was an amergency" she said calmly and continued eating
After that day we never saw our father again

I woke up like usual and started training, it frustrating me that I couldn't get faster I'm missing something but what
"Yuki-sama!" My crow korin came flying to me as my face lit up ,It's a new mission
"A demon is attacking a village, go south if you start walking right now you will arrive by the night " she said, I started walking while she was flying above me
"Hey korin,is it a solo mission?" I wondered
"No you will work with an other demon slayer!" What if I work with rengoku-san like last time, I hope so. what!? what am I thinking ? I shouldn't be happy to see him it wouldn't change the fact that it's gonna be team work
I arrived to my destination , it was already night, I joined the Young demon slayer I was going to work with and we started searching for the demon , when we found him I was willing to finish the mission quickly ,the other slayer was a water breathing user , it was quit beautiful, but he wasn't that powerful, he distracted the demon enough so I could decapitate him easily
"Wow! You're so fast, I wish I could be as fast but I'm to slow , and I barely have any power " he said with admiration
I was right he wasn't that powerful but he had determination and that was enough
"Just keep training, and you'll arrive where you want to be"
He smiled appreciating my advice "thank you , I will!"
I turned away and grimaced, since when I was encouraging, I just walked away living the young demon slayer behind, he was insignificant , I won't see him ever again.

I arrived in a bigger city ,when I saw a familiar silhouette with hair looking like flame , it was rengoku-san he was talking to a little group of people, I decided not interfering and just walked past them
"Shisaka-san!"
I froze. Hearing my name in his voice was a unique feeling , I turned to look at him I couldn't help it, I was happy he noticed me,I smiled
He stopped walking to me and looked behind him, he turned again eyes widening, (yes rengoku-san I'm smiling at you)I thought ,it was the first he had seen a smile on my face , his smile returned as he reached me
"are you willing to walk with me?"he asked cheerfully
"Absolutely" I said and started walking.
I stopped and looked at him when I didn't hear his footsteps , he had a surprised expression on his face but was soon replaced by his usual smile, and came walking next to me
"It's a beautiful night isn't it?" He said while looking at the sky
"It is"I answered smiling
With the corner of my eye I saw him glancing at me and then turned away, he seemed unsure about why I was suddenly having a normal conversation with him. After all, until this point I've just been ignoring or insulting him. He didn't question my unexpected behaviour and just played along.
