Lucas

"I'm calling the police!" The gym employee said as she scurried away.

My stomach drops as my brain catches up to the sight in front of me, his hands are in her pants. I want to break his fingers one by one for putting his hands on her. From the tears rolling down her face I can tell it's not something she wanted. She takes the opportunity to push away from him while he's surprised someone kicked the door down.

"Lucas I didn't, I promise." She runs to me and I pass her off to Hazel and Miles who are waiting outside, hurt flashing over her eyes.

I turn my attention back to the dickhead in the corner of the bathroom. He tries shoving me backwards but I catch his hands before he gets a chance. "Better watch your girl there, she practically threw herself on me. Is that why you narced on me to the cops pretty boy? Afraid I was going to fuck your bitch?"

He's taunting me and I can't lie it's working, I grab him by the neck and pin him to the wall.

"What the fuck did you just say about her." It comes out as a snarl, I could break every single bone in his body one by one until he couldn't stand anymore.

"What? That your girlfriend doesn't think you're enough to satisfy her needs? Is that why you narced because you know Aria wants my cock down her throat? If she didn't want me, why does she make it so easy to find her" my stomach is twisting at his words. "The stupid bitch leaves her location on and I put software on her phone to track her location so even if you turn it off ill still be able to get to her, if you were just a few more minutes I could have taken care of what you can't give her." I didn't let him go on, I wound my fist back and just cold cocked him.

As he lies on the floor I crouch beside him and grab him by the hair pulling him up to me. "If you ever come near her again, if you ever try to force yourself on her, If you ever try and sell her drugs again; you won't like the outcome, I promise you." I let go of his hair and his face bounces off the floor.

When I walk back out the police are just arriving talking to the gym employee and Aria instantly glues herself in my arms. Her sobs haven't stopped since before I kicked the door down, I could hear her before the terror and sadness rippled through my chest. "I've got you, you're okay." she's shaking in my arms as she buries her face in my chest, her sobs have quieted but her body is still vibrating from the adrenaline.

A male and female police officer walk over to us after the employee points us out, the female looks put together and confident whereas the taller male with her is looking rather nervous, i assume he's new to the job. The female officer brushes some of her red hair out of her face giving the male the opportunity to speak first, but his timid demeanor made it seem like he wasn't going to. She huffs slightly, obviously annoyed with her partner. "Good afternoon, I am Sargent Lockfield, and this is Training Officer Davis. Would we be able to have a word with you two in private?" she smiles warmly trying to put us at ease, when we agree the employee points them in a direction of I assume their office for us to have a private conversation, after the scene that was caused I'm sure they don't want anymore drama surfacing this afternoon, the paramedics have come in and are examining Steven's face, dabbing at the blood to assess the damage. "So give us a rundown."

Listening to Aria talk about her past is hard. I know it's not something she's proud of but despite that she's doing a great job at keeping it together for the officers sake. She leaves out the part that Steven is her ex-dealer, but with the bust that just happened at his house I'm sure the police officers can piece that together themselves. Her leg is bouncing 90 miles an hour and I place my hand firmly on her knee for reassurance, the gesture is small but her smile is worth it.
