Update: I am now barely starting to write again, writers block is a bitch but I'm back now. Here's a short story that me and a friend made. This has nothing to do with the original story this is just a bit random

No one's pov

Shrignold has always been a good kid, ever since he was little he had been loyal and kind to everyone. Malcolm's family didn't help with that as that was what they enforced on everyone.

Larry on the other hand was more chaotic, more wild, more on the bad side as a kid, not in the evil way he just misbehaved a lot.

When the two met they thought they would never get along due to their obvious differences. The day they met Shrignold already had not liked him, Larry was very drunk when they met and he would soon learn thats how Larry is all the time. Larry thought Shrignold was too good of a kid, too innocent to truly understand and get along with him. It was like putting two of the same magnets together, they immediately repelled, or so they thought.

As time went on the two would get along more thanks to their friends in the house. After a bit they actually hung out together. They became good friends. It was quite obvious with what Larry felt towards Shrignold, he had been the first to fall in love but shrignold was very oblivious to such. He was still under the power of Malcolm, he still was under bad beliefs. Larry knew this, but he didn't mind. He was happy to at least be around Shrignold, to hug him, hold his hand. Even if Shrignold didn't know his true feelings, he was still happy.

weeks and months went by with these feelings, the feeling was getting unbearable now. Larry had loved Shrignold so much but knew it'd be a mistake to tell due to Shrignold being 'homophobic' even if he didn't seem like it. Malcolm's beliefs would be enough to have Shrignold stop hanging out with him and that was a nightmare for Larry.

The current time was 1 AM. Shrignold and Larry were outside more into the forest but not far from home. Shrignold was sitting on a tree next to Larry, both of them talking.
"You ever think about working so much for someone but not getting the outcome everybody else is getting when you help them?" Shrignold asked quite randomly as he swung his legs from the tree high up
"What do you mean by that shriggy?" Larry said a bit concerned and confused
"Well I've always worked for Malcom ever since I was a child.. I always am able to get people their special one but I've never been able to really find my own.." Shrignold said quietly, a nervous smile on his face. Larry frowned and out a hand on Shrignolds shoulder
"Your gonna find someone one day bud! And their gonna be everything youve ever wanted.." Larry said trying to keep Shrignolds hope up
"Yeah.. I'll find her one day.." Shrignold started with a small smile before mumbling "or him.." after that very quietly, Larrys eyes widened as he heard such, a small glint of hope in his eyes as he looked over at Shrignold

"You think your special one could be a guy?" He asked, Shrignold chuckled.
"Well you never know.. I'm starting to think a bit outside of the box. Malcolm may deny it but I just have this guy feeling that it could be a guy.." Shrignold said smiling as he leaned his head on Larry's shoulder
"You think you know that guy?" Larry asked "Hmm.. maybe, I don't know.." Shrignold said in reply, shrugging. Larry took a deep breath, blushing a bit as he continued to speak
"You think maybe it'd be a lamp fella like me..?" He asked looking over at Shrignold with an awkward smile, Shrignold being a bit confused for a minute before he realized what Larry meant
"Why do you ask..?" Shrignold asked quietly
"I was just hoping I had a chance.." Larry said with a giggle, Shrignold giggling along with him.
"Maybe you do have a chance.." Shrignold said as he leaned in and gave larry a sweet kiss.. Larry was surprised but he didn't pull away. When they both pulled away after a moment of kissing, Larry looked at Shrignold with a smile
"So.. you think we can try and like date?" Larry asked nervously, Shrignold nodded
"I think that'd be nice.."

The two spent the rest of the night together and fell asleep in each others arms once they had gotten home..♡
