Two Days Later...

The last couple days pass by, and things haven't gotten better or worse. Darren did come back to continue the maintenance of the animatronics, which he has been doing for the last couple days. Saphira was happy, though she couldn't really tell or ask much knowing he is still likely being controlled by Springtrap. He has not yet asked about Gregory, but she and the animatronics have noticed that Darren is watching them closely with suspicion. It was clear he suspects something, especially since they no longer talk about Gregory around him. It has been pretty unsettling, and Saphira did not like it. But they still played along.

Gregory himself repeated his idea to Saphira again, and still thought it was a bad idea. She already has been down below the pizzaplex, and knew exactly what to expect. The boy did not. It was great that he was feeling a heap of confidence in the plan, but she just did not think that it was a great idea. She still did not tell Freddy the details of the plan, as he knew that Gregory had one. But she didn't tell him because she promised not to, and because she felt he did not need to know.

It is Monday now, and Saphira had only gotten out of bed ten minutes ago. She felt so heavy today, and she reluctantly made herself eat some toast for the night. It was thirty minutes past seven, and she had just finished making some grilled cheese sandwiches for Gregory as the boy had asked for them. Being that it would be a quiet night, Saphira was not expecting too much to happen. She knew that the room next to her apartment would be used as they had been using it over the last couple days.

Gregory looked at Saphira as he noticed she seemed to be rather quiet right now. It was unusual as she was normally talking to him, but she was not. He was a bit worried. "Are you feeling okay, Saphira? You seem a little bit out of it."

Saphira sighed as she heard the boy. She was just finishing up dishes and put a plate into the drainer stand. "Just...heavy...and tired." She rolled her shoulders to try and give herself some comfort. "We have quite a few hours to waste before the pizzaplex closes, so I guess we should do something...or you can."

Gregory was worried for Saphira. He knew that she had been tired the last couple days, but it seemed to be worse today. "I don't know if you hear, but Darren sent a message over the Fazwatch communication line to every guest in the building. Including my Fazwatch " Saphira turned and looked st him in surprise "He sent the message an hour ago or something. Apparently there was a major issue in the electricity tonight, and it was causing issues with the elevators. So he made the decision to close the pizzaplex at nine."

She frowned as she had not been aware of that. "I must have been really out and deep in sleep to miss that." She looked at her Fazwatch curiously a-and thought about speaking to Darren about it. But she missed it, so she would need to speak to him like it was a general conversation. "I have to say, I don't think this place has had electrical issues throughout the building like that before. But maybe there is something faulty, and we have to wait for electricians to come and fix the problem."

"I can confirm it. When I woke up, the power had gone out a few times, and the lights dimmed before you woke up." Gregory and Saphira look up as the lights dim suddenly. "Just like that." He points at the lights in the ceiling as Saphira stared at them. "I guess it's just one of those days for the pizzaplex."

"So it would seem." Saphira looked at her Fazwatch to go through the security cameras to check on the animatronics. But when she did that, she saw that every camera was covered in static. She could not see anything. "It must be affecting the cameras. I cannot see anyone or anything. This is very strange."

"I guess a lot of things are being affected by the strange outages. Hopefully the animatronics have been able to recharge despite all of these issues." Gregory took a bite out of his grilled cheese as he thought about it. "I guess it seems strange because it has not happened since you started working here. But I wouldn't think of this as suspicious, Saphira."
