𝗘𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗲'𝘀 𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

A/N; this update is a flashback to Ellie's issues as a teenager

Sixteen year old Ellie benson sat in her room. She felt as if her life had been turned upside down and she couldn't seem to except and deal with had just happened. Her head was a mess. Sh had ended up involved with her teacher. She thought how it was love and she thought what they had was for real and it wasn't

Her mother detective Olivia benson had caught them in bed together and it had all kicked off from there. Olivia had arrested him in statutory rape and abuse of power and he had been taken away from her and she didn't know how to deal with it. She knew how she would be forced to go to court over this as she knew how her mother wasn't going to let this go

Ellie looked to see Aimee as she walked into the room and looked to her "are you okay" Aimee asked as Ellie sighed

"I know what you think. You think that same as mum but he did love me. He wanted us to run away together" Ellie said as Aimee looked to her

"He was a perv el. You know it and so do I. He had brainwashed you but mum did the right thing. He can't hurt you again" Aimee said as Ellie looked to her and rolled her eyes

"You think that your so perfect. You don't understand any of it. He was right, you'd all be against me. No one understands" Ellie said as she stood up and walked off. Ellie had to get out of there. It was all getting too much

Olivia benson walked into her apartment as she saw Aimee as she sat on the sofa. She watched a movie "where's your sister I need to talk to her over this trial" Olivia said as Aimee shrugged

"I have no idea I was trying to talk to her over all that has happened and that. She knelt saying how we didn't understand and she ran off" Aimee said

"I thought I told you to keep an eye on her"

"Don't blame me mom. If you wanted to keep an eye in her maybe you should of stayed off or something. She can't accept what had happened to her. She doesn't think she had done anything wrong and she thinks that everyone is against her" Aimee said as Olivia sighed

"I'll find her. You just keep out of trouble the last thing I need is for you to cause any trouble" Olivia said as Aimee looked to her and rolled her eyes

"Charming mother so much faith in me" aimee said as she looked to see Olivia walked off to find ellie

Ellie benson walked into the apartment. She didn't know how long that she had been gone. But she was back home. She had a load of missed cal from her mom before her phone died. She walked inside and sighed as she realised how quiet it was

She went to walk into her room and jumped as she saw Olivia who stood in front of her "and where have you been Eleanor" she asked as Ellie rolled her eyes

"Out"

"I can see that. We have things to talk over" Olivia said

"Whatever" Ellie said

Olivia stood in her way and looked to her daughter "what are you on" she asked. She knew how Ellie had taken drugs and that she was on something

"It's called having a good time. Maybe you should try it sometime mother" Ellie said

"Eleanor I swear to god. I know that you are having a hard time of things but I am your mother and I love you and I an ding what is best for you and you need to understand what you went through. Go to your room we will talk in the morning" she said

Ellie rolled her eyes as she walked to her room. She sat on her bed and sighed as she grabbed the stuff that she had bought. She looked to the drugs and the needle and sighed as she prepared herself for her next hit

She knew that she needed this to cope with what was going on in her life. She couldn't accept what Olivia was saying to her

Two months later;

Olivia walked into Ellie's room. She was worried over her daughter. Her grades had dropped. She was constantly getting called in to talk over her behaviour

She knew that Ellie was using something and she knew that she wasn't going to put up with it. She knew what Ellie had been through and how she had isolated herself from all her friends, even from her sister and she was worried

She knew that she had been harsh on Aimee because of Ellie and she knew that she couldn't sit back and do nothing. She searched through Ellie's drawers and sighed as she found her stash of drugs

She knew how Ellie had been using for a while and she knew that she was spiralling big time and she knew that she couldn't sit back and do nothing

"Are you sure that it's a good idea. You'll go threw withdrawal or she'll get more"

"She's getting no money off of me to buy any. I am trying to save your sisters life Aimee. She will get clean and I still want to at man who raped her locked up. I need her sober and I need her to realise what he did and it wasn't love like she thinks. She will kill herself with this stuff" Olivia said as Aimee nodded

Aimee walked into Ellie's room "Ellie do you want to go for dine food . I'm hungry and I..." Aimee said as she walked in. She paled as she saw Ellie who was passed out in the ground.

She had a needle sticking out of her arm and she had been sick. An empty bottle of vodka lay beside her

"Mom" Aimee yelled as Olivia ran in at the sounds of her daughters yells. She frowned as she saw her daughter

"Call 911" Olivia said to Aimee as she ran over to check for a pulse. Olivia was worried as she knew how this was the start of her daughter's addiction
