The seeker was in the main control room. Alone besides Vehicons. His mind so focused on the other day though, when Megatron had said those things about him being right and whatnot. It hurt his processor.
His wings were held up high, not daring to fall around Vehicons, and he stood up straight, a very prideful position. Once again, surely for the show of Vehicons.
"Your wings are higher than normal." A cocky voice spoke as it's origin, Knockout, walked into the main control room, keeping his flamboyant demeanor in his stride as he passed several vehicons on his way towards the Decepticon air commander. "Are you in a good mood? Or just showing off?"
"My wings are always up this high." He responded, turning to the medic, "What do you want?"
"Me? Oh, I don't desire anything from you at the moment." He replied, placing one of his servos on his hip. "It's Megatron that's most likely wanting something of you."
The seeker groaned, moving his wings in sync to be dramatic. "I know, I just haven't figured out what he wants." He huffed.
"Information." He answered. "More specifically, he wants to know more about you."
Starscream blinked. Utterly impossible. Megatron had neverer wanted to know anything reguarding him before, why would he now?
"Why?" He grumbled lowly, narrowing his optics and looking away from Knockout.
"All he told me is that he wanted to know you better." The cherry sports car responded, his cocky smirk unwavering. "I mean, we all know only a smidge of your past. I can't blame Megatron for wanting to know more about his air commander."
"You all don't need to know anything about me." He responded, focusing on his fucking work for once.
Like Megatron had recommended.
"Oh, come on, Starscream. Live up a little." Knockout replied, leaning onto a control module. "It's not like sharing a bit of story about you is going to hurt."
The seeker shook his helm. "Did Megatron send you to get information out of me?" He guessed. "What does he have planned then?"
"Beats me." He said with a small shrug. "But if you're so worried about it, I can at least tell you that I don't think Megatron has anything malicious in store for you. He seems genuine about wanting more information about you."
The silver seeker paused, blinking a few times. There was no possible way Megatron genuinely wanted to know him right?
Did that mean Megatron genuinely thought he was right? What had changed? What brought Megatron's attention to him?
"Well," He muttered before clearing his throat, and starting again, "Well, I...I like total losers. Does that satisfy your thirst to know more?"
"Perhaps." He said with his still remaining grin.
"I'll talk to Megatron again. I can't guarantee that he won't want to know more though, so you might want to expect his company soon unless you'd rather tell me all you've got right now."Starscream gained a grin of his own. "I like when people are straightforward. How about that?" He said. "Like, example, what the frag is he on about right now?" He laughed lowly.
His wings even fluttered. He felt like he was a young bot talking with a friend.
"Only Primus knows. Straightforward is one thing he hasn't been." He laughed back.
"Somethings going on with him. But, again, doesn't look like he has anything bad in mind.""Being unpredictable doesn't help him right now." Starscream laughed again, before looking back to his work. "But, give him that. If he keeps annoying you, have him come to me."
"You got it, Screamer." He said, moving off of the control module and making his way back over to the room's exit. "Hope you find out whatever Megatron wants from you."
"Good day to you, too." He responded sarcastically, scowling at the nickname of choice.
