Agatha and Annabelle became best friends and always plotted against Patricia and Kate , while Kate and Patricia remained best friends and maintained their friendship with both Agatha and Annabelle.
Kate became the most famous student at the university of Portugal because she participated in almost all school activities , and won numerous awards . Similarly , Patricia was one of the smartest students at the university.
Kate would often say that Patricia was naturally smart and didn't need extra effort to pass her exams , unlike Kate who had work hard to keep up with her studies. Kate kept herself busy with various engagements , similarly to what her mom used to do for her when she was young. Consequently , she didn't have time to go clubbing like Patricia did.
Patricia fell in love with Kate but tried to hide her feelings. Eventually she confessed her love to Kate. Kate was shocked to discover that Patricia deeply , like a sister she never had , and didn't want to use any means to make Patricia quit being a lesbian.
Although she was unsure if it would work , she decided to give it a try. At the same time , Theo asked Kate to be his fiance. Kate was incredibly confused but chose to handle things in her own way. She asked Theo for some time to think before giving him an answer.
Meanwhile , she continued involving Patricia in various activities to keep her busy , but these efforts didn't change Patricia's feelings towards her.
