Chapter 8: Supporter

I couldn't help but catch the four Pups as they looked at me. "Did we do good, Daddy?" Zero asked as I smiled. "You all did great." I said as Aki nodded. "You're all so strong, we knew you could do it." Aki said as he helped carry the two girls. "We did it." Bell said as I watched them smiled. "Goddess Hestia!?" Pheonix exclaimed as she caught Goddess Hestia. 'What happened?' I thought as Pheonix began to check her vitals. 'She's just exhausted, that scared me." Pheonix said as she relaxed. "I'll carry her." Bell said as she was about to protest. "It would be for the best after all, you're still recovering." I said as I whispered in her ear since I knew she didn't want others to know. "I understand." She said as she sighed. "We should probably get her an Inn, rather than your guys' house." I said to them as they nodded. "Are you still able to walk?" I asked her softly as she nodded. Soon we were at the Hostess Of Fertility as the Waitresses gave them a Room to borrow for their Goddess. "I'll be seeing you guys later." I said as I made sure the coast was clear before kissing Aki on his lips and kissing Pheonix on her cheek. I soon gave a hug to Bell as I did the same thing to the Pups. "See you." Pheonix said as she kissed my cheek. In my Clan, kissing someone's cheeks was how we showed our affection and also something we did to people we considered Family. Pheonix, Bell and her Pups were the only ones I've done it to aside from from Aki and Hoshi. And with her reciprocating it back as well as the other Pups, it meant that they also accepted us as part of their Family which I was glad about. As I made my way back, I could hear people starting to talk. "Do you think he's really with that Hestia Girl?" "He's lucky that he managed to bed the wrench." "She's so useless." "Not only that but she looks so weak." "Her only use would be warming the bed." "Not only that but did you see how many kids she has?" "What a slut." I could hear people rambling on as I glared at them. "If you have anything to say about my Woman then say it to my face." I growled out as they all paled. 'That should teach them.' I thought to myself as I they stammered out apologies. "If I hear as so much of an utter of slander about her and her capabilities, I will not show any mercy." I said to them as I turned away. 'I guess it's a good thing having the name Cerberus which was the Guard dog of Hell.' I thought to myself as I headed to Twilight Manor. "Where were you?" Bete asked as he crossed his arms. "With my Family, why?" I said as I asked him. "We couldn't find you and not only that but Monsters escaped two." Tiona said as she explained to me. "I know, I was there in Daedalus Street." I said as their eyes widened. "So you took care of the Monsters?" Tiona asked me as I shook my head. "No, it was the Hestia Familia, seeing as I didn't have my Weapons." I said to them as Riveria looked back at me. "Why were you with the Hestia Familia? Does it have something to do with that girl?" Riveria asked me as I stayed quiet. "So what if it does." I said as I looked back at her. "You were with those Weak Punks?" Bete asked me as I twitched in annoyance. "You don't know anything." I said as I growled at him. "She's a Weak Ass along with that Familia of hers. I mean what person sends Pups into a Dungeon? She's basically asking them to get killed." Bete said as I growled. 'He's getting on my nerves, if he doesn't shut up soon then I'll have to apologize to her.' I thought to myself. I did tell Pheonix that I wouldn't hurt him but right now, he was pushing it. "I said to shut up." I said to him as he scoffed. "NO, BECAUSE WHO WOULD YOU RATHER PICK!? HOW CAN YOU CHOOSE SOME WEAK PUNKS FROM A WEAK FAMILIA!? THEY'RE TOTALLY USELESS AND WORTHLESS!" Bete shouted out but before he could continue, I grabbed his throat. "You don't know fucking anything about them." I said as I gripped his neck harder. "Natsume, that's enough." Finn said to me as I glared daggers at Bete. 'I could care less, he deserves this.' I thought to myself. "Next time you dare to speak of such slander against my Pups and my Family, I won't show any mercy." I said as I tossed him aside. I could hear gasps of shock as Loki looked at me. "You had a kid with one of Chibi's Familia?" Loki asked me in disbelief. "Mates exist for us Beastmen and it's not like we can refuse them let alone Fated Pairs." I said as I saw Bete flinch. "What?" Lefiya asked me in confusion. "We can't run from them, in the end, we can only be more drawn in and to ignore the bond that binds us, would be abandoning our Culture not only that but be detrimental to our Omegas as well." I said as Bete gritted his teeth. "What exactly are you trying to get at?" Bete asked me as I looked at him. "Were you that drunk you failed to recognize what she was? Or have you become blinded that you can't even care about anyone else but yourself instead?" I said as I asked him with a glare. 'How could you not recognize the one who's always been supporting you? How could you forget her so easily? Even if wears a Scent blocker, that's not enough reason to justify your actions.' I thought as I glared at him. "What's the meaning on this?" Gareth asked me. "Tell me Bete, have you really forgotten about the one you married and bonded nearly five years ago?" I said as I asked him. However, I didn't wait for a response as I turned away. "Also, don't think that you can find her even if you return back to her Home. There's nothing there anyways at least, not anymore." I said to him. 'It's up to him to find out the rest. I won't give up where she is so easily especially after all the pain he put her through. I did promise her that.' I thought to myself before heading to my Room. Even though I didn't care that I hurt him, I still felt like I had to apologize to Pheonix for hurting her Mate so I made sure to note that down in my head. "I'll apologize to her tomorrow if anything. For now, she'll need time and rest as well." I said to myself before stripping off my armor. I quickly made myself comfortable in my bed as I sighed while looking at my ceilings.
