Chapter 5: Dinner Disaster

Natsume's Point Of View....

As I noticed Pheonix, Bell and her Pups, I watched as she pulled her hood a bit more. 'I guess she didn't realize that we frequent here.' I thought to myself as I frowned. I never did tell her since she never ate here and not only that but she also said they don't usually go out today either. 'Try not to do something stupid, Bete.' I thought to myself as Goddess Loki began to say her speech before we all began to cheers. However, I also noticed that I felt some sort of attachment to her Pups as she did to Hoshi. I guessed that this was what Aki was talking about with me that day. I never realized it until now but I guess that's because we're in a large crown than me meeting them when it was just us or Aki as well. "I guess my theory was right after all." I said quietly as I started to drink. Since there was a lot of food, I saw that her Familia was keeping to themselves. 'It must be hard for her.' I thought as I noticed her covering her nose a bit. The pheromones of an Alpha is quite strong especially if it's her Alpha. Not only that but he still has no idea that she's here and she wears a Scent Blocker so he doesn't even notice her either as well as their Pups. Though, she should know about the backlash that an Omega experiences when their Alpha leaves without visiting which was what Bete did. She already almost died giving birth since he wasn't there and so, her body is still weak. Not only that but it'll only get weaker unless she's near her Alpha but then again, the pheromones may end up being too much for her since she hasn't been around him for so long either. 'I should tell Bete to at least hold back his pheromones a bit but then again, it might just make it worse and I wasn't even sure what to say if he asks for an explanation.' I thought as I sighed and shook my head. "Is everything alright, Natsume?" Captain Finn asked me as I looked at him. "Yeah, I was just thinking about something. That's all." I said as I shook my head. "Oh, is that so?" Captain asked me as I nodded. As we continued to have fun and talk, I saw the kids glancing over to us as I waved at them. They waved back with a small smile as I chuckled. "You know them?" Riveria asked as I nodded. "I met their Mom a while back." I said as I avoided saying Pheonix's name. "They're Werewolves, aren't they?" Tiona asked me in confusion as I nodded. "Well, Werewolf Genes are quite strong and sometimes, stronger than most." I said as I explained to them I was just glad that no one made the connection with Bete and them though. "Is their Mom cute?" Tiona asked me with a smirk as I thought about it. "She is though she can be very dense at times. I don't know how many people has flirted with her but she always thought they were just being nice." I said as I laughed a little. Though I was gay and had a Mate, they didn't need to know that and I didn't want to tell them either. "She must be a real Beauty with how the kids look two. The Dad's probably also hot like her two then." Tione said as I held in a laugh. 'Just wait until you find out who the Dad really is.' I thought to myself as I hid my smile behind my cup. Bete and them always had a Rivalry so when they realize that they basically complimented Bete, they'll more than likely take back everything they said. "Have you met him?" Ais asked me as I nodded. "He's a pretty strong Adventurer two and he's also a Werewolf." I said as I hummed in agreement. "So he's a Werewolf like them, that's pretty cool." Tiona said as I hummed. 'Though she's not actually a Werewolf or any type of Beastmen, she certainly does follow the Traditions and Culture of one.' I thought to myself as I ate. "She must be pretty amazing. It's rare that Werewolves give birth to four children as well." Riveria said as I nodded in agreement. "Not only that but I feel like those four are Alphas as well." Gareth said as I nodded. "That's right which is basically a miracle itself." I said as I nodded in confirmation. As long as I didn't really give them any information on either parents, then it would be fine. 'I guess he hasn't noticed yet.' I thought as I watched Bete continue to drink. Though I wasn't sure if that was a good thing or a bad thing, since he hasn't noticed his Omega being so close to him either. 'You really should tell him, Pheonix. You're going through so much pain because he's near you but yet so far from you at the same time. Not only that but his pheromones are too intense for you as you are now.' I thought to myself as I saw Luca holding Pheonix's hand. Zero looked back at me and shook his head as I was about itching to go to her. 'But she's in pain. She needs to get out of here before anything worse happens.' I thought to myself as I looked over at the others. They all didn't seem to notice anything aside from Finn, Riveria and Gareth though that was the least of my worries. My Friend was in pain and needed help which was more important to me than a silly fight or rivalry between our Goddesses. "Is something wrong, Natsume?" Ais asked me as she hit Goddess Loki on the head since she was trying to grab Ais's breasts. "I'm good, Ais." I said as I shook my head. She was sixteen and I was twenty six though I did have a Son who was four, the same age as Luca and the others. I was also a Level Six Adventurer Adventurer just like the others. "Ais Dear, that hurts." Goddess Loki whined with a large bump on her head. "Well, you reap what you sow, I guess." Riveria said as Gareth laughed. "Well, Loki will always be Loki after all." I said with a sigh as I shook my head. Goddess Loki could be a pretty big pervert which I was glad that Pheonix never had to meet her. In all honesty, I would be kind of worried if she ever did have to have a run in with Loki or if Loki would run into her. Pheonix was pretty gorgeous and her personality and soul was pure just like Bell and her Pups. Bete would also probably throw a fit two if he ever finds out or if Loki ever does that to her. I would be the same if she did that to Aki or Hoshi. "I guess that's also true." Finn said as he laughed along with us.
