They followed the crying to a bright green leaf.
"Hello anyone here?" Oliver asked.
Oliver shielded his eyes from the bright light, as the fairy came from dehind the leaf. When his eyes adjusted he could see that she was very beautiful. Her short white pixie hair cut framed her heart shaped face while her pink pointed ears sat on each side. Oliver starred at her large teary blue eye and the her ruby red lips. Tiny gold flakes floated up and off the tips of her almost translucent wings as she floated in front of them.
"Hi Gwen where are all of the fairies?" Celesta asked.
"I don't know. They were all gone when I came back home," Gwen cried.
"We'll find them for you," Oliver bravely said.
"Gwen this is Oliver. He's Landor new wizard," Celesta said.
"Nice to meet you Oliver," Gwen said with a sniffle.
"It's nice to meet you. You are such a beautiful fairy," Oliver said.
Gwen went into an uncontrollable spin then shot up twenty feet into the sky, like a bottle rocket, leaving a sparkling trail behind. Celesta put her hand over her mouth.
"Oliver you're not suppose to compliment fairies it effect them in ways we don't understand, plus they don't talk about it," Celesta said.
Gwen floated back down trying to get her composer back.
"Gwen I'm so sorry about that I didn't know," Oliver apologized.
"That's alright I probably need it," Gwen said.
Celesta wished for her crystal ball and it appeared in her hand.
"Show me where Gwens fairies are at," she commanded.
The crystal ball did nothing. Again she tried and still nothing.
"This has only happened once before. An evil dragon was destroying parts of the forest and I could not get a lock on him, because he had an evil protection shield around himself, " Celesta said.
"I have an idea. Can you pull back your viewing point so that the evil creature can't jam your crystal ball?" Oliver asked.
Celesta did just that and a mountain came into view in the crystal ball.
"I know where that's at. Give me your hands," Celesta said.
They vanished and appeared in front of a huge round cave. Oliver turned around to see the horror on Gwen and Celesta faces.
"What's wrong?" Oliver asked.
"See how round the cave is?" Celesta asked.
"Yes," Oliver said.
"Many year ago it was not unusual for a lake to be mysteriously drain or for a sink hole to form any where. These evil tunneling worms are extremely deadly. On the front end of their body is a cluster of small finger like worms that squirted a magical acid. The outside of their body is their stomach and they can travel through solid rock as easy as you or I can walk through the air," Celesta said.
"I didn't realize that they were that big," Gwen said.
"They got bigger when they got older," Celesta said.
Oliver examined the caves wall's and found a thick and tough spider web which he tried to stretch out..
"This is some strong spider's web," Oliver said.
"Oh no not a giant evil spider," Gwen screamed as she flew in circles with worry. Neither Gwen or Celesta wanted to go into the cave. A puzzled look appeared on Oliver's face.
"Why aren't we going in to the cave?" Oliver asked.
"We can never enter the underworld. Every time we have, we have lost our magical powers and then we could loose our lives," Celesta said.
"What?" I've been in plenty of cave. Wait right here. I'll be back in a second," Oliver said as he vanished.
Oliver appeared in his old garage. He grabbed his old gas lantern and lit it then he found along thin strong rope and put it on his shoulder. In a twinkle he was back in front of the cave. Oliver tied a large hoop on one end and a small hoop on the other end. He handed Celesta the large hoop.
"I'll be back in a hurry. Can you put the spider in a dream bubble of reality?" Oliver asked.
"Yes. I'll be ready," Celesta said.
Gwen flew up to Oliver and grabbed his face and kissed him on the lips.
"That's for good luck Oliver," Gwen said.
When Oliver turned back to Celesta, he had golden flakes all over his boyish face. She wanted to laugh but instead she smiled. Oliver entered the cave.
