"Harry! Ron! Let's go!" Elizabeth called out as she stormed into their dorm with all her bags in her hands.

"Bloody hell Elizabeth! I don't have any clothes on!" Ron exclaimed wearing only his boxers.

Liz rolled her eyes, "Don't be dramatic, I grew up in a cupboard with my twin brother, you think I haven't seen a boy in his underwear before? Now come on guys, we're gonna miss the train."

"We're coming, we're coming!" Harry said as he grabbed his suitcase, "Put your clothes on and let's go mate." He said, eyes narrowing at Ron.

The train ride through the snow was truly remarkable. Elizabeth and Harry had never seen anything like it. It was astonishing to both of them.

"Mum makes the best hot chocolate ever," Ron explained to the two who were attentively listening to how the Weasley's Christmas's always went, "She adds marshmallows and a candy cane straw, it tastes amazing! And on Christmas morning she makes a huge breakfast with meals specialized for each of us."

"That sounds incredible." Harry beamed, "I can't wait."

"Christmas at the Dursleys was like having Christmas in prison." Elizabeth laughed but Harry didn't find it very funny.

"Why do you always have to do that?" Harry argued.

"Do what?"

"Bloody hell, here we go.." Ron muttered, more so to himself, as he watched the twins argue.

"Make those jokes about our shitty childhood! Or about our parents being dead!"

"Because it's better than being sappy all the damn time now isn't it?" She sighed, "Mom and dad didn't want to live our lives wallowing in self pity, Harry."

He looked down, "I know."

"Therefore, instead of our normal prison Christmas's, we're having a luxury Christmas with the Weasley's!" Liz exclaimed.

"Merlin, you two are weird." Ron shook his head with a small smile.

Meanwhile in Lilia and Draco's compartment, they were playing a game of cards as they talked.

"I'm not ready to go home." Draco admitted, "I was really hoping I could just stay at school until summer."

"I know." Lilia agreed, "But at least we're doing it together." Shrugging she looked at him, "Besides, we get to eat your mothers amazing food!"

"How are you always this optimistic?" The blonde boy questioned.

"Because between the two of us, one of us has to be at least a little less depressed."

Draco rolled his eyes, "Right on."

Arriving at Malfoy Manor felt like they had just entered the first realm of hell. Neither of the two wanted to be there.

"Lilia!" Narcissa exclaimed when the brown haired girl walked in, "It's so great to see you dear!" She hugged her tightly, "How was your first few months of school? Are you liking it?"

"I love it." Lilia smiled, "And I have most of my classes with Draco so I'm never alone."

"Oh good." She smiled, "And Draco dear," She averted her eyes to her son, "Come here."

He embraced his mother with a small sigh, "Hi mother."

"Don't pretend you don't love me, Draco, you wrote to me every day so far." She laughed, "Now you two go get yourselves settled. I'll call you two down when dinners ready."

"Where's father? Is he not here?" There was a hint of excitement in his voice.

"He's in his office." Narcissa sighed, "But he won't be done until later so it'll just be the three of us at dinner."

The two headed upstairs to their bedrooms, which were connected by a door, and unpacked their things.

"I've never been happier that my father is busy working. We'll have a drama free dinner tonight!" Draco smiled.

Lilia laughed, "I know. Thank Merlin."

The peace at the Malfoy's mansion was nothing compared to the chaos at the Weasley's Burrow. Fred and George had already began their Christmas pranks, Percy was pacing the living room reading, Arthur was sitting at the kitchen table with a rubber duck in his hand, Molly was cooking and Ron, Elizabeth, and Harry were climbing out Ron's window to watch the stars from the roof.

"This is awesome. Your family is so cool." Harry said to Ron.

"They're alright." Ron shrugged with a small smile, "It gets really loud here sometimes."

"I can only imagine the amount of pranks you've suffered from the twins. Or how many lectures you've listened to from Percy." Liz laughed.

Laughing, Ron replied, "Don't remind me."

"Do you do this a lot? Climb onto your roof to watch the stars?" Liz asked.

"I do when I need to clear my head. Sometimes it's just too much in there. Out here it's so peaceful and comforting." Ron spoke as he looked around, "I've been coming out here since I was a little kid."

"Harry and I used to draw stars on the walls of our cupboard to do the same thing. It wasn't nearly as beautiful as this." The ginger girl explained.

"I'm sorry you guys had such a rough childhood." Ron said empathetically, "You should spend the summer here so you don't have to go back to your aunt and uncles."

"I wish we could." Harry spoke with a sigh, "They'll freak out if they don't have their servants for the summer."

Ron frowned.

"Don't make that face, Ron." Liz scolded him, "We have each other. We always end up fine."
