The first time Stiles had visited really had been interesting, a lot of staring contests and mischief, if you know what I mean.
The first time he had visited while Lucifer had been around that is
It had been right after the Nogitsune, Noah, his uncle had suggested a break from the stress that is Beacon Hills and maybe go visit his mother and Trixie. He figured it was probably a good idea to see them again, maybe Dan as well, It really had been quite some time, almost three years now.
He used to visit three times a year but when everything went to metaphorical hell- thank lord, he stopped, they did talk on the phone of course but that was it, and he missed them dearly.
According to Trixie his mother had gotten a new boyfriend but Chloe had disagreed, telling him that he was just a guy from work that keeps showing up in her house uninvited, which he should have found off putting but as it didn't seem like he was too much of a creep other than that, from what they had both said about him he couldn't help but chuckle at the comparison of Derek and this mystery man. Except of course- Derek didn't make or steal breakfast when he was not so creepily visiting as Stiles had gotten used to it and when he didn't half scare him into panic, he weirdly didn't mind having him there.
Ignoring that last thought, he was truly happy to be going to visit them
