The Plan Takes Action

After breakfast at an IHop that happened to be on the corner, we all walk back to Yugi's house. Well, most of us. Tea, Duke, Tristan and Ryou have all decided they need to go check if their homes are still in tact and their families are alright and Yugi's grandpa decided to go to the store.

"Shouldn't you go check on your dad?" Yugi asks Joey as we walk back. I turn and walk backwards, facing the two. Joey shrugs. "Eh, if this plan'o hers works, I won't need ta worry 'bout my ole man. All me or Serenity's worried about is our mom, but we'll just call 'er when we get ta your house." I grin and give a thumbs up. "Course my plan'll work! It's a great plan and it'll be fun! We just gotta be careful about it and the whole thing'll go off without a hitch!"

I spin back around and march along. "Once we get back, it's time to get started!" "Yay!" Mokuba cheers. I hear Yami and Yugi sigh when Joey jumps to my side, doing that creepy face thing he does.

You all know what I'm talking about.

 "Yee~! We're gonna screw with Kaiba!" I chuckle nervously and speed up, away from Joey's creepy rape face and closer to the safe haven that is Yami. I look back as Joey goes off on Yugi about how excited his is to mess with Seto. I sigh and glance at Yami to see him looking over his shoulder with an amused look on his face. I feel a soft smile tug on my lips. "He's a strange one, that's for sure." I blink up at Yami. "What?" He chuckles and points over his shoulder, turning his eyes to me. "Joey's definitely a peculiar person to know." "Oh, yeah, I guess he is." I giggle and nod.

—-Yugi's house—-

I burst through the front doors, accidentally shoving Yugi to the side. "Sorry Yuge!" I say, dashing to the kitchen with Mokuba in tow. "Time for some prank calls!" I shout. "But we need to call our mom!" says Serenity. I freeze, glancing back to her. "... ok, fine, check on people, THEN prank calls!"

I turn and skip out of the kitchen, returning to the living room, where the others have settled back into playing video games. I plop down on the couch as Yugi and Joey settle on the ground to play a round of free-for-all with Marik and Bakura.

"Ya know what, screw it. MOVE OVER I WANNA PLAY!!"

—-several hour later—-

"AND SUCK THAT, BIATCH!!" I shout, slamming my hand down on the ground. Yugi, Joey and Bakura all yell out in protest as Mokuba and I high-five. The screen whites out as the nuke goes off. "I TOTALED YOU SUCKAS!!!" I cackle loudly as the other three all sigh. "Well done!" Marik says, holding out one hand. I grin and high five him. "I'm glad you're on our team." laughs Mokuba.

I glance up to see Yami standing in the doorway with his arms crossed, eyes narrowed in thought. With a grin, I hop up and bounce over to the teenaged Pharaoh. "And what're you up to?" I ask. He jumps slightly, turning to me with wide eyes. I giggle and smile. I notice his cheeks getting slightly pink as he takes a step back. "Uh... n-nothing really." I frown poutily and lean forward. "You wouldn't have jumped if it was "nothing"." He glances away, rubbing his cheek with one finger. "I didn't jump." I giggle and pap his cheek. "Suuuure you didn't." He blinks at me with wide eyes.
